Historic Ireland, Antique Dublin prints by James Malton

The architect James Gandon (1743-1823) arrived in Ireland from Britain in 1781, and supervised the construction of several historic buildings - including Dublin's Customs House and Four Courts buildings, on the banks of the River Liffey. These views of old Dublin, by Gandon's assistant James Malton, show the buildings & surroundings as they appeared in the 18th century.
