Late at night, I am thinking,
All alone, the house is empty,
Laying in the womb of my bed,
Dreaming a strange dream.

I'm floating upside down,
My whole world's changing views,
Writing is a bunch of meaningless scribbles,
And I can't even hear the news.

All those years of learning wasted,
All that wonderful life I tasted,
Now I'm in a bar, stopping to sit,
Why did I fall asleep again?

It's a blue moon tonight,
And the frost of the snow,
Is falling onto the sun,
Laying broken in a garbage can below.

The simulation of breathing,
Is so full of wise thoughts,
Eagles fly as if their life has meaning,
If I only knew that I was a robot.

Laying in a world of wires,
A world of crazyness surrounding me,
Lying in my bed so tired,
Raise a hand, follow your dreams.

My final embrace,
A suicide note,
What a disgrace,
Look at what I wrote.

Waking in a cold sweat,
Pointy elf like ears,
Rubbing my face, it's wet,
Scissoring memories, sharp as shears,
Ripping open my flesh, drawing blood-stained tears.

I'm back again,
From my strange trip,
It was all a dream,
Or really, was it?

Something I'll always wonder,
Something I'll never fully understand,
Something I'll never know,
No matter how small or grand.

Haunting illusions slid past my face,
Memories of what could have been,
Why did I give into the confusion and give up the chase?
I had to taste the future to be seen.

Now my dream is ended,
And I can truly say,
That this is a new dawning,
Of a brand new day.

Please end this horror,
This nightmare that is my life,
Take me somewhere better,
I hold my neck to the knife.

I slit my throat as I awaken,
It was all just yet another dream,
Adventure's calling me once more,
Now I remember who I am, where I've been.
And the adventure will continue, there is no end.
