1. The Third Crystalite Sphere
By: Inuki **Ookami**

Zenaden vanished completely from all record after the explosion of his mining factory. The Dark Katana, the
second blade that could summon Inuki was found by a lord, by the name of Shadow Dæmon. He summoned Inuki, and
Inuki was for the first time in his life intimidated. Soon Shadow Dæmon created a strange device and put it onto a
collar, and locked the collar around Inuki's neck. At that very moment he knew that he was beyond being no longer
free. He was trapped. He became Shadow Dæmon's personal servant, doing chores and things for him. Shadow Dæmon
always stayed under a black hood, Inuki never saw his face. As Shadow Dæmon's empire grew larger and larger Inuki
had less and less tasks to do, due to the fact that there were others that did Shadow Dæmon's jobs. It turned out that
Shadow Dæmon somehow had S.W. reincarnated, except this time it was for him, not Zenaden. Inuki didn't even know
if Zenaden knew his master, but was beginning to wonder. He became doubtful of his master, and began to wonder if
Zenaden was Shadow Dæmon, or if Shadow Dæmon really had defeated Zenaden, as he said he had. Inuki could not be
assured of anything. And this was how Inuki met up with Scorpion once more. It all happened strangely.

"Go get the second leader of S.W. I want to have a conference with him. I have a task for him and his men."
Shadow Dæmon said to Inuki, a thick smile spread across his face, but could not be seen due to his hood. Darkness
engulfed the room, except for a few oddly sized candles in candle-sticks which dimly lit the room. Two spectres sat on
either side of him, hovering silently in the air. They both wore hoods, and a darkness lay inside. Behind the throne that
Shadow Dæmon sat upon lay an anmorphous figure. This figure was apparently a werewolf which was merely there as
a guard. At the bottom of Shadow Dæmon's chair sat a small greenish goblin creature, which was the Shadow Dæmon's
advisor, and his brother, who wasn't in the room, was a messanger. Inuki trotted away from Shadow Dæmon after
nodding slowly to him. The doors were closed by two guards afterwards. Inuki trotted up a pair of huge dark stairs, and
through the many darkened corridors that made up his master's estate. As he exited the building, clouds covered the
creepy domain. He had the address of the second leader of S.W. in his mind. He headed towards a building. It was
within Shadow Dæmon's domain. He liked to keep his friends close to make sure that they wouldn't ever think of
betraying him.

Inuki trotted towards a rather small house. Whoever this person was he was very modest. Slowly Inuki knocked on
the door with his tail. To his surprise a rather large figure opened the door. A rather large figure that he recognized.
"Scorpion! What are you doing here?" Inuki asked in surprise. He was rather confused now. How did Scorpion become
the second leader of S.W.? It was all very confusing. Scorpion explained that after they had split up from being in the
world of the Magic Marbles he had found that Zenaden was apparently an old man. Apparently the time in this world
was different, each day was a year in the land of the Magic Marbles. That was why it seemed like more than a week or
so even though only a few minutes had passed when Inuki had come back since the fight with Terrace. He had then
decided to settle down, buy a house, live a life for once. He did, and became a successful member of the reformed S.W.

Soon they returned to Shadow Dæmon's lair. As they entered his room he motioned Inuki in along with Scorpion.
"I have a mission for both of you. And I know that you would never betray me, Inuki. So I shall have him go along
with you, is that okay with you Scorpion?" Scorpion nodded concealing a smile at how Shadow Dæmon treated Inuki.
Soon they were given the address of the building in which they would start their mission.
"You are going to travel into another world, and get some things called the Magic Marbles. Ask the people about the
marbles. They are for the most part easy to deceive and are mostly nice. But there are some dangers there. I'm sure that
you two will be able to over-come all these things easily though." and with that sent the two off. Soon they were
walking towards the building in which they had to open a portal to the other world.

Inuki had shape-shifted back into his human form, long before they arrived at the building where they were to do
their mission. It was an abandoned warehouse. As they walked around the back they found the large box that was
supposed to be there. They took the wooden crate inside together, and inside they found a funny-looking figure. He
was a taller than Scorpion, who made himself look fifteen, so that people would underestimate him, but not nearly as
tall as Inuki, who was by now at least 6'9, if not taller. He had pointed ears, like an elf, and wore a strange brown
costume. That was the only way to describe it, a costume. He looked like a woodland elf, wearing mostly brown and
green, the same colour scheme as Inuki's clothing in his Human form. Meanwhile Scorpion was completely different,
wearing his black and red outfit. This time, when Inuki shape-shifted to his human form the spiked collar was still
there, but he had white-gold hair, instead of his usual black. His eyes were green, like when he had shape-shifted into
his human in the past. It was a new adventure, so he figured he may as well experiment, and have different hair.

The figure that stood there with a hand full of muddled measuring tape. It was all jumbled up, wrapped around his
face, his body, his legs, and all over the ground. Scorpion scoffed at him, walked over, grabbed the end of the role, and
ripped it from him. It all wound up, untwisting from the strange figure. The figure smiled a quirky grin.
"Thanks." he said. Scorpion muttered something unaudiable, and the figure sighed. Inuki ignored the two and opened
the box carefully. The wooden panels slid away, and the box fell apart. Inside was a small game station. He connected
it all, and plugged it in. Then he turned it on slowly. A television screen which had come with the game station lit up
and the word "Maxima ™" flashed across the screen, and then a list of the games came up. Winter Moon, Rainbow
Valley, Vampire City were just a few. There were so many. The figure said his name was Tri-Link, a fighter and
adventurer who tried to get a job doing things for people, and ended up building houses and other buildings because he
messed everything else up. He had had quite some interesting jobs apparently. He had been a theif, an assasin, and even
dropped an large amount of explosives on a small country once.

He told them he was tired of his wasteful life, and wanted adventure. So Scorpion invited him to go with them.
Inuki was not nearly as pleasant about the idea. Inuki set the thing up, and pulled out three small controllers. He asked
if they had any prefrences as to which game they should go to. Scorpion said that they should go to one entitled
"Dragon Hunt" because it sounded like a child's game, and would be, most likely, the easiest. So Inuki clicked his
controller button until the title they had selected became highlighted in gold. He clicked the start button, and suddenly
the entire screen turned black. Suddenly the power turned off in the room, and the lights appeared to burst, as huge
glowing sparks shot from the roof as they exploded, or rather imploded, they exploded from within. And then a tornado
that was tiny appeared on the screen. It had green and purple and blue in it, but mostly white. It grew larger and larger
and then seemed to bend over, and suddenly it shot out of the screen, and there was a tremendous wind. A huge current
swept them forwards, and they were all sucked into the screen, into the game itself. Slowly the lights went back up in
the abandoned warehouse, as if by magic, since the lights had seemingly exploded a moment before. As the lights came
back up in the room it was completely empty.

Meanwhile the three figures began flying through a mass of knick-knacks and strange objects. They were in a world
where everything was strange. Inuki had worn his Red Amulet, due to the fact that it was a special occaison. He had
brought the book too, not that it would be of much use. For when he had gone back to the real world he found that the
Magic Marble Compass was indeed broken, and that the Magic Marble Book's pages were torn, and burned. The pages
that weren't damaged by that or by stains had no writing, it was as if it had faded from extreme heat, like the writing
had been burned right off the pages. And their marbles, their marbles turned dull, the colour faded from them, and they
no longer possesed the magic that they once had. The Ice Marble was no longer cold, the Rock Marble no longer
rough, the Electric Marble no longer charged with static electricity, or any electricity for that matter.

But as they flew through the strangle jumble of objects, mostly clocks and watches and things, they found that the
book's cover was once more a lusturous black leather, no longer the musty old brown faded colour it was in their world,
and that the marbles regained their power in a brilliant dazzle of light from within their pockets, but most splendid of
all was the Red Amulet. For it was dull one moment, and then it shone, it shone like it had never done before. It glowed
a beautiful orange and red, and there, in the corner you could see the loveliest reflection of yourself. The gold encasing
the ruby shone like new-spun gold, and was untarnished. The chain was no longer broken and dirty, but a lovely silver,
and when Inuki opened it up the marble was no longer gray inside, but completely black. They flew faster and faster
through the strange dimensional warp, and then everything grew a deep purple. Suddenly they flew into a black hole,
and everything went dark.

Slowly they looked around as each awoken indivdually. Everything seemed to have changed to Scorpion and Inuki,
from when they had come before. It was like they themselves had been reborn, and the world had started anew, or so it
seemed. Then they realized this world was no longer than land of the Marbles, like it used to be, there had been no true
electricity in the world of the magic marbles the last time they had been there, except for the Electric Guild, which
summoned their electricity from lightning, which, as everyone knows, is much different. Everyone used wood burning
fire-places, candles, and torches. The whole idea of the world gave an almost midievil sense. Now they were in a hall
that was flooded with electrical lights that shone from light fixtures that hung from the ceiling. As they walked down
the hall they found a very thin man wearing a suit, typing away at a keyboard. The sign on his desk read "Secretary." in
bold, black lettering, carved into a gold plated background which was set very nicely on a small hunk of wood.

It had been a long time since they had left the world of the Magic Marbles, the World of Night. It was good to be
back, or was it? Well, the world would have been called World of Night, had Zenaden truly taken the world over while
they were there. Now it truly was called the World of Night, due to the havoc that Zenaden had wreaked while he was
ruling over the land. Who ruled the land now? It must have been divided, ruled by different rulers, it was the only
reasonable conclusion that Inuki and Scorpion had an obvious explanation for. But why? Why had Zenaden vanished?
"Excuse me." said Inuki. The secretary didn't even so much as blink. Inuki tapped on the secretary's desk. Then he
rapped upon the wood. Then he hit it extremely hard, and in a voice, holding his anger back he said
"I said excuse me!" to the man. Finally the secretary turned his head. It was a slow process, due to the fact that his
glasses kept falling off of the rim of his pointed little nose. He kept putting his hands on the thick lensed glasses to
push them back on, but it was to no success, as they were obviously far too big for him. They didn't have glasses the
last time Inuki and Scorpion had been there, nor computers, but alot changes in almost three hundred and fifty years.

Suddenly the secretary muttered something after pushing up his glasses one more time, and looked at them.
"Do you have an appointment? Because if you don't have an appointment I'm afraid that I won't be able to help you.
Nobody sees Miss Rosenmouchoirs without an appointment." the little goof said in a stern voice, then he turned back
to his computer, and continued typing, completely ignoring Scorpion, Inuki, and Tri-Link. Inuki sighed.
"It's hopeless. Let's just go see where the Red Amulet leads us." the other two nodded, Scorpion out of trust, and Tri-
Link out of inexperience. Inuki flipped open the compass, and now the little silver dial was once more in it's place,
pointing to the word "west" which was lit up in green, as was usual when they had been in this land before. They
headed west, which led down a hall where there were two rooms. One was to the right, one straight ahead, but slowly
the dial shifted South, and that lit up when West had fully faded, so Inuki turned right, and knocked on the door.
Nobody answered, so Scorpion kicked the door down after Inuki backed out of the way. An extremely heavy woman
sat at a computer typing. He body was so large that she looked like a cement truck, she was beyond being fat, beyond
being huge, she was gigantic! She was huge! Inuki walked around her in a circle, the compass rapidly changed
directions, then went blank.

"Search her pockets!" said Inuki, while Scorpion held her down. Tri-Link checked her pockets, but found nothing.
Inuki gave a puzzled look. Then Tri-Link had an odd, yet useful suggestion.
"Perhaps the marble is in her?" and then Scorpion grew a devilish grin. Inuki told Scorpion to drag her into the other
room, to find something to take the marble out from inside her. Tri-Link suggested a laxative, but Inuki frowned.
"Too messy." he muttered. "No, I believe we'll have to rip it out of her stomach." as they enetered the other room they
found that it was a massive cafeteria. They walked into the serving area, and back around the counter. Inuki kneeled
down, finding a drawer. He ripped it open, and pulled out a huge, thick knife. He handed it to Scorpion, who watched
as Tri-Link held her down, even though Tri-Link was bigger than Scorpion he wasn't nearly as strong, nor did he have
the same amount of control, so the woman flopped about like a huge fish, or a walrus, while Scorpion gutted her open.
He put the knife to her chest, and with a swipe drove it deep into her stomach. Blood surged from her wound, and
Scorpion made a very fine cut. Inuki took the knife from Scorpion, and washed it in the sink, after throwing a pair of
gloves towards Tri-Link. Tri-Link gave a puzzled look for a moment, then realized that he had to extract the marble
from the woman.

"Oh no! Oh no you don't!" he said backing away from the two. Inuki stepped behind him, sheathing his Ice Blade,
and pushed him forwards with the blade. Tri-Link sighed, closed his eyes, and kneeled over the woman who was now
screaming in agony. The strange little secretary completely ignored this. Slowly Tri-Link stuck his hand down the
woman's stomach, and felt around, he felt a large bubble-like object covered in a fluid, and a small sphere inside. He
ripped the bubble open, jammed his hand inside the bubble which was full of a thick gooey substance, and ripped out
the marble, then the woman who was bleeding like crazy closed her eyes, and died. And it would have been so much
easier if they had just given her a laxative. Inuki took the prized possesion, and rubbed it clean from blood. He held it
up to the light, and the crystalite sphere shone brightly. Now he had two crystalite spheres.

Suddenly the crystalite sphere glowed a eerie white, and the whole room shone. Suddenly the three of them were
back in the abandoned warehouse. Yet Inuki still triumphantly held the crystalite sphere up in one hand. Slowly they
looked around, and found the change in place strange, but not extremely unsual, considering what had happened before
that. Inuki pocketed the crystalite sphere into his pouch, now the marbles glowed once more. It was as if by being back
in their old world they had been activated, and the Red Amulet shone a ruby red, and the compass inside was working
better than ever, and the book, the book was as glossy and beautiful as it was when it had first been made!

They all agreed to meet back at the same place the very next night, due to a lack of sleep that night. Even though
barely ten minutes had passed in their world it seemed like over three hours had gone by since they had gotten sucked
through the tornado. Suddenly Tri-Link had a strange idea. To check their watches. They did so. They found that
exactly eight minutes and twenty six seconds had passed since they had left, except for Inuki, who didn't wear a watch.
He could sense time himself, and relied on his nose, and his brain alone. Soon enough they had split up.
