(Brent Talking To Lynette About Inuki)

Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Is walking through a forest, the day is very sunny and hot, and they have entered below the large, shady trees for protection from the heat. Beautiful flowers grow among lush green grass. The tree brances are covered in morning dew, which, when shaken splash down onto the moist earth below. Many of the trees around them are willow-like trees, creepy-looking, yet beautiful, in a twisted, mourning kind of sense. The air is almost crisp, as it is early in the morning, and it is only slightly warm in the forest, as only Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): small cracks of light shimmer through the darkened forest. It is quiet in the forest, except for the odd bird song. Many of the trees are coniferous, but they are not very dominant. Small berries of various kinds also grow like shrubbery, wild strawberries, salmonberries, blueberries. To the far north of the forest is a small pond surrounded by thick grasses.**
Lynette: **Looks around at all the sights.** You know, this place reminds me a bit of home... only without so many dangerous creatures running around, and less rocky
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Hmm.. Where are we exactly anyway?
Lynette: I'm not sure exactly sure... I know we were heading east when we got to that hill....
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): .oO( I wish I hadn't left Inuki. Maybe I should have woken him up? He just looked so peaceful, he looked so perfect. No. I don't think I should have woken him.)
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): What about Inuki? Are we going to go back to him?
Lynette: I'm sure he'll catch up to us eventually... but if you want we could find a good place to wait a while.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): .oO( I always look for objects of perfection. Just like this morning. This morning seems so perfect. This moment seems so perfect.. It's so beautiful.. if I could be sharing it with *him* it would be even more perfect, but he'll wake up.)
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Yah. I sure hope he finds us. Okay. Let's find a place to wait.. Maybe a nice big rock to sit on? .oO( Even if he is a lazy jerk, he has his good points.) **Smirks silently to himself**
Lynette: **Hears Brent's thought, barely.** Hmm? You say something?
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): What? I was just thinking.. About Inuki. Even if he is a bit of a jerk some times.. he has good qualities.. right?
Lynette: Yeah, he does once once you get know him a bit... not that getting to know him is that easy.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Sighs** Inuki's so dreamy.. and strong.. and uuh.. well.. he's not exactly nice.. he's not kind... he's not gentle.. well.. he can be.. I guess...
Lynette: Um.... **Tries to remember Inuki being gentle.** I guess.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Uuhmm.. What else is he? He's dreamy.. and strong... that's two things.. He's smart! Yah! He's really smart.. Oh! And Courage.. he's very courageous.. **Counts on his fingers** He's dreamy, and strong, and smart, and courageous... what else?
Lynette: He is that.... 'Though I'm not always sure what you see in him... he's not very nice to you sometimes.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Hmm. You don't get it.. He's only playing hard to get.. that makes him even more adorable! He's trustworthy.. and loyal. He's Loyal.. if that's a good quality? Dogs are loyal.. and he's not a dog!
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Hmm.. He's Dreamy, Strong, Smart, Courageous, Adorable, and Loyal
Lynette: He is a wolf 'though, they're pretty close to dogs.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): That's six.. And sure he isn't always nice... but I guess wolves aren't all very nice all the time.. Lynette: I guess he's just being true to his nature then.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Yeah.. and he's.. well.. what else is he? I mean, I'm not a stereo-typical blonde. I'm not all ditzy. I like him for other reasons than physically.. but what else are they? His face.. it's so smug.. and cute.. **Grins** Wait.. that's kind of a physical feature.. hmm.. What else is there?
Lynette: Well... **Thinks for a minute, give Brent a quick look, thinks for another minute.** he seems like he'd be a good provider if he provided for you... if that makes any sense.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): He's Dreamy, Strong, Smart, Courageous, Adorable, Loyal, and Cute, he's also a good provider then...... wait.. What do you mean? Provider of what? **Looks around for a rock as he walks** I don't see anywhere to wait.. hmm.. I don't want to get my jeans wet. They're already grass-stained.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): And he's a good cook.. Even though I don't think he likes to admit it.. **Chuckles**
Lynette: You know, good at taking care of some one.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Oh. Yah. I see what you mean.. That's nine things.. What's the Tenth good thing about Inuki?
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Hmm.. The Tenth Good Thing About Inuki...
Lynette: He cooks? Um... if you don't want to sit on the ground you could try climbing up a tree. I used to spend a lot of time in trees.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): .oO( Where is Inuki anyways? Hmm.. I've only been a little away from him. And I miss him already..)
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Yeah. Don't tell him I told you about the cooking thing. I think he's... sensitive 'bout it.. Alright.. A tree it is.. **Hefts himself up.. the branch shakes wildly, dew falling
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): and splashing all over Lynette's head. Hoists himself higher up, and lays down on a large branch**
Lynette: I guess he's... well he's also good at protecting you if—**Is splashed.**
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Sorry 'bout that.. **Looks down** Protecting if what?
Lynette: If something attacks in the middle of the night **Pulls herself up onto a limb, then hooks her legs around it and swings her body up on top.** or something like that.
Lynette: You always look like you feel safe around him.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): A battle arises? He wouldn't protect me like that... Remember? He ''has no friends'' **Sighs** Although he never said that about dating.. **Smirks** To think I had him on a date back at the Lock Guild...oO( That was another almost perfect moment.. **Sigh**)
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): That's because I do feel safe around him.. I've never seen him loose a battle.. Except that one against me. But that was because he wasn't at full power, he didn't have the swords.
Lynette: Yeah, but if you were really in some sort of danger I think he'd come to your rescue.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Sighs** Rescue.. Like a white knight in shining armor.. How dreamy.. I know I'd do anything for him if he were in danger. **Remembers at Zenaden's castle. Inuki hugged him. But he had said he didn't want to go out with someone. He wanted to be a
Lynette: I guess, 'though I never really thought of him as a knight, shining armor or no.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): friend.. The very same term he often said he had no such need for..** Oh. Well, he'll always be my hero.
Lynette: If you ask me he's just being defensive about not needing friends.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Why is he defensive about not needing friends? I still don't know how you met him.. or his past.. where did he come from? How did he become so.. so.. you know, the way he is? .oO( And why is he so good-looking? Jeez. I couldn't find anyone as good-looking as him in This entire world) You guys aren't from this world. But how can you just be here to defeat SD? I've never quite understood how you could just... be here to help out this world.. We'd probably already have been under Zenaden's wrath a long time ago if it weren't for you two.. and Scorpion. He's another mystery.. He's even worse than Inuki.. I don't understand him.. or Kai.. are they from the other world too? It seems like I can never talk to them. Only you and Alex.. and I don't talk to Alex much... I don't think he likes the idea of me and Inuki... **Shrugs**
Lynette: As far as I know we all come from different worlds. And I originally started this to help Inuki, I have this compulsion to help people... I'm told it runs in the family.... also so I wouldn't have to face going home again. That was before I knew I had a sister 'though.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): You have a sister? Do you think Inuki'll ever go out with me? Do you think I stand a chance.. I mean.. does Inuki like err.... girls? Or rather.. Does he like anyone? I mean... Will Inuki ever understand?
Lynette: Well... you got him to go out with you once, even if you did have to beat him in a fight....
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Yeah.. and drag him to the place, and make him change clothes.. But I can't beat him again. Not now. He's at 2/3rds of his power or something. That means he is just as strong as me and when we defeat SD he'll be way to strong. It'll either have to be his own choice, or we'll have to really convince him.
Lynette: Then I guess you'll just have to wear him down, not take no for an answer or something like that....
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): I can't... I don't want to fight him.. You don't understand... I.... I.... I really love him... **Puts his head in his hands** Why did I have to fall in love with him? Someone I can't even find Ten good things about.. **Sighs**
Lynette: You don't have to fight him to wear him down, just be persistant.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Frowns** **Sighs** He's too strong... I can't wear him down. He'll never give up. Once his mind is set on something he refuses.. you know how he is.
Lynette: **Shifts on her branch so her back is against the trunk.** I don't know, it doesn't seem that hopeless.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): It is.. you aren't me.. I've already been trying for so long.. but he's just been ignoring me.
Lynette: You already seem to be growing on him... he doesn't try and put you in my bed as much anymore.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Yeah, but he doesn't do anything with me. He never even hugs me.. and when I try and hug him he normally moves away or something. **Sighs** He doesn't mind sleeping next to me because he knows I won't try anything on him. I should though.. **Sighs** I won't though. He'd get mad.
Lynette: Maybe it's still the guy thing... that part always did kinda make him uncomfortable.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): You're right. Why DO I like him so much anyways? Maybe It's time for me to.. you know.. move on? What do ya' mean? Guy thing? Maybe I should... find someone else? There's got to be something out there for me.. he's all I have right now..
Lynette: You know. You being a guy, and him being a guy... that seemed to make him nervous when you first met. **Watches a falling leaf.**
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Nods** I guess. . . Maybe he's waiting for someone else? Someone better than me? Am I not good enough for him? Am I mess-up?

Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Yeah, but he doesn't do anything with me. Lynette: But then he didn't show that much interest in girls either.... Or maybe once he's done with the marbles and SD and all his other worries he'll want to settle down and pay more attention to you.... It's a possibility anyway.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): He's never shown interest in anything or anyone. I think something in his past must have screwed him up pretty badly.. I mean.. I've never met anyone like him.. in good ways and in bad ways. Or, maybe once he's done with the Marbles and SD he'll find a nice girl who he'll marry.
Lynette: Or maybe you could be that girl... you could learn to shapeshift.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): But I want him to like me for who I am.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): If he can't like me for who I am then it just ain't meant to be.
Lynette: I guess I can understand that... still....
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): And another thing.. if I were to learn how to shapeshift, I'd be miserable, and if he found out it was me.. I like myself the way I am.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): I don't want to be a girl. **Sighs** Why do things have to be so complicated? With SD, and the Marbles?
Lynette: What'd be so miserable about it? Sometimes it's nice to be in another form... And you wouldn't have to hide who you were, just call yourself Brentina or something.
Lynette: Hmm, well, I can't exactly blame you for not wanting to be a girl, it ain't exactly all peaches and cream.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Shrugs** I just wish there was some other way.. I guess we're not right for each other?.. Lynette: I wouldn't say that... he does let you get away with a lot he wouldn't let other people. Like what? Hmm.. **Blinks, stares up through the huge trees, up at the beautiful rays of light that shine down** If we're vampires why don't we die from sunlight anyways? I never quite understood that. I guess you are because you're half ghost.. but me?
Lynette: Hugging, sleeping, all those compliments, and he only fainted when °you° kissed him.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): I mean.. when I was in Vampire City it was always night.. most of the time anyways..
Lynette: Maybe it's just hype... I mean, my our eyes aren't slitted like cats, and we also don't sleep in coffins. He's only sleeping in the same bed as me because he knows he has to. Compliments? He always gets mad at me.. **Sighs** I'm lucky I didn't get punched out for that kiss.. Ergh. Why does everything have to be so difficult? And don't tell me that it's just how life is! I used to sleep in coffins.. I liked it too. It's much more preferable than a bed..
Lynette: If it were just how life is it'd be easier after dying, I should know. Hmmm... Lynette, who are you?
Lynette: Who am I?
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Erm.. not just after dying.. there's got to be something more out there. If not for me now.. for me later.. I mean.. when you died.. did you see a light or anything? Or was it... just black?
Lynette: What do you mean?
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): No. Not just.. who are you.. I know WHO you are.. I know WHAT you are... But rather.. Why are you the way you are? Who ARE you? Not just.. Who are you.. I mean.. who are you really.. like.. in your heart?
Lynette: Oh.... You really know how to ask a hard question to answer. **Sighs** I mean.. do you know who you are?
Lynette: I used to think so, but that was before my little accident.... That's how I feel. I don't know who I am.. not anymore. I used to- I mean.. I thought I used to. I also thought that if there wasn't more for me then, that there would be in an afterlife... Uuuh.. I mean.. did you see a white light? Big gates? Anything?
Lynette: There was light at first.... And a voice.... Then it got very dark, and very cold, and I could death all through me, **Shivers.** then....
Lynette: then I'm not sure what happened, I felt like something grabbed me in the middle of my stomach and pulled me very fast, then almost like I was falling, then I was back here....
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Whimpers** I- I- I don't know if I want to hear this anymore...
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): You were just... just back here? That's so.. weird.
Lynette: Only I was looking down at myself all bloody...
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Umm.. no more.. Let's talk about something else.
Lynette: It seemed like it took forever for me to learn to have a body again.... **Shudders like someone coming out of a trance.**
Lynette: Yes, let's.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Lynette.... do you think me liking Inuki is weird?
Lynette: Not any more so than usual.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Really? That's good. I didn't want you to think I was weird. I mean... you are my friend.. right Lynette? You're my friend? I can trust you... right?
Lynette: Um.... Sure.... You can trust me.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Nods** That's good. I've never been able to trust anyone.. not back in Vampire City.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **A strange whistling sound is heard in the distance**
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Hmmm.. The birds here are nice.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): I've never seen trees like this before.. they're very.... tropical.
Lynette: I guess most of us vampires aren't too trustworthy.... I know mortal people don't think we are.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Footsteps are heard approaching** Huh? **Turns his head to try and see what the cause of the noise is.**
Lynette: **Stands up on the branch, holds onto another and turns around.**
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Who do you think that is?
Lynette: **Reaches for her bag with her left hand.**
Lynette: Not sure.... **Holds onto the end of something blue in her bag (no it's not the cat).**
Inuki **Human**: **Is walking along the path, both swords across his back, he is wearing his red shirt, one of the two shirts in his possesion. A dark green one and a red one. He is wearing his blue jeans (not his black jeans) and doesn't notice them**
Lynette: **Drops the blue thing back in her bag.** Heh. Well speak of the devil.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Nods**
Inuki **Human**: **Walks up to their tree, and almost past it..**
Lynette: **Turns around again as Inuki passes, then gives a short ''yoo-hoo'' whistle.**
Inuki **Human**: **Turns around, looking up, faster than light itself** HuH?
Lynette: **A ''yoo-hoo'' whistle being somewhere between a wolf whistle and a cuckoo clock, I can't think of how else to explain it.**
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Climbs down from the tree, standing next to Inuki** Hey.. Glad you woke up.. Let's get going.
Lynette: **Jumps down from her branch and lands ina crouching position with one hand on the ground.**
Lynette: Yeah, I think we've all had enough rest by now.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): You know Inuki.. I think in one morning I've learned more than I have in a few months.
Inuki **Human**: **Ignores Brent** Hurry up you two.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): .oO( Maybe someday I'll know everything about life. Some day. )
