Transportation

Roads, both in and outside of towns are usually dirt. Roads between towns are marked by large monoliths with the names of towns, their directions and distances engraved on the sides. There are no inns due the popularity of staying at wolf temples.

The most popular means of travel is by foot, although travel by horse is not un common, and horse or ox drawn carts are used to carry goods, and sometimes passengers. On longer roads inns can be found, but not often. There is no travel across the ocean, but there is some travel by boat down
rivers and across lakes.

Many Takai Sennyo travel. There is a long history of Takai Sennyo going abroad in search of adventure and enlightenment, which takes its roots from their myths about the travels of Queen Lynette, and her son Andbry, who is said to have left and never returned. There is so much travel that it is considered an honorable profession.
