Psi & ESP/PK Among the Takai Sennyo these types of abilities are not considered magic, or even extraordinary as all Takai Sennyo have them in some degree. Telepathy is nearly as common a form of communication as speech and is used frequently over longer distances. Precognition and clairvoyance are also extremely common, however most Takai Sennyo are not aware that they use such abilities. They think of such things as something akin to a "gut feeling", however the accuracy of these feelings far exceed that of other race's feelings. Psychokinesis is a rarer ability, most are not able to consciously perform acts of PK, and evidence of unconscious PK is difficult to gather at best. However some are able to, through practice, concentration, and mental training some are able to do amazing feats of psychokinesis. There is also a form of telepathy that seems to be unique to the Takai Sennyo known as "dream projection" or "vision projection" in which one Takai Sennyo is able to manipulate the dreams of another. In these projections two way communication is possible, and usually the reason for doing so, however some Takai Sennyo practice dream projection as an art form creating elaborate visions. In order for this projection to take place both Takai Sennyo must be in an altered state of consciouses brought on by dreaming, meditation or mesmerization.
