Physiology The average height is between five-foot-four and six feet. Their average weight is between ninety and two-hundred pounds. The most common hair color is dark brown, but blonde is also fairly common. There is a surprising abundance of blue and grey eyes among the Takai Sennyo. Men are capable of growing beards and mustaches, but with the exception of elders (who often have long grey beards) they are usually clean shaven. Their skin is usually fair and their ears are pointed and swept back, making them often confused for elves by those unfamiliar with the little-known Takai Sennyo people. One of the meanings of "Takai Sennyo" is "tall elf", another is "death elf" referring to their connections to Hades and the dead, another is "death fairy" referring to the ability of some to assume a fairy-like form. In fairy-form they an average of three to three-and-a-half inches in height and rarely weight more than an ounce or two. They keep their distinctive ears, but some males are said to become female in this state, so far this has not been confirmed. They are capable of flight and have wings similar to a dragonfly, with an average wingspan of three-and-a-half to four inches.
