Diet

Meat is used sparingly in Takai Sennyo cuisine with the exception of fish. Chickens are kept for their eggs and goats for their milk, but few animals are bred for their meat. Consequently almost all meat is from hunted animals. The most common way of preserving meat and fish is packed in dry
salt, or but in barrels of brine.

Yeast is used in baking, as well as in fermentation certain strong drink.
Less strong drink is made from fermentation of fruit or honey which is drunk
by those of almost all ages, but only by younger Takai Sennyos on special
occasions.
