Shadows sinking into the daylight,
Slowly taking over the day,
Soon the world will be owned by darkness,
Who are you to fight it? Who are you to say?

Soon the sun will set,
Day will never come back,
The world shall succumb,
To the silent night of black.

Yellow eyes shining through the darkness,
A black cat climbing across the sky,
Flying through the black rain clouds,
Up to the dim moon, O' so high.

I have come to possess you,
As the flames of day wrestle night,
And everywhere you paint shadows,
In the overwhelming darkness, struggles the light.

O' you who are of flesh and bone,
Watch out for the shadow that I cast,
It's majestic vines will entwine,
And finally capture you at last.

Without these shadows I would be,
Nothing, and you wouldn't have to fret,
But the shadows are here, so close to me,
And so I must admit I cause a threat.

These shadows of mine, are of a curious sort,
With them around you had better watch out,
As darkness calls, slowly for you,
So run, when you hear my mighty shout.

"Unleash the demon inside, deep, deep down,"
Soon I shall begin to call,
"For I said I have come to possess you,
That is all."
