"Hundreds of students were killed on the famous Astronomy and Piloting Learning Institute. Most were training to be pilots, when the tragic events followed. A group of men had apparently walked in, wearing some kind of army suit, and proceeded to pull out some kind of a rifle. Then they opened fire on the students. The teacher and two students inside the simulators who hid in the bottom were the only ones who witnessed this even and are still alive. The teacher could give no comments, as his family says he was so shaken. One of the students was wounded, and is the hospital recovering, the other is the only one that is fine. The student in the hospital, Joseph Copwell had this to say." the screen then showed a very scared looking boy, with a pale white face, and light brown hair.
"I saw it all, they walked in, w-with huge guns, and began opening fire. I ducked into the simulator, a-and I hid under the machine, in the part where you put your feet when the men were too busy to turn around and look directly at me, since they were too busy shooting. I- I hid there for a few minutes, and when the shooting was nearly done they walked by the simulators, opening the curtains. I heard one or two more screams, and gunfire. I guess they must have nailed th-the other people that tried to hide. When they opened the curtain t-to the one I was in they di-didn't see me." the boy looked like he had just seen the devil himself.

"Oh god! It happened! It really happened! I didn't stop it!" he just stood there staring blankly at the television. He could have stopped it, when he saw the vision. He didn't try and stop it from happening. He never thought that it would, besides, there was no way to tell when it would happen. He felt guilty. It was his fault. He wanted to smash the television, but all he did was turn it off. He stared at the black screen. The door unlocked and creaked open. It was Kaleb. He didn't even look up. It was late during the night, and Kaleb had been gone in the gym a long time. He had been going there quite a bit lately, to work off his frustration, and anger. Kaleb closed the door, and locked it. He wiped some sweat off of his forehead, then looked up. He stared at Mitsuhiro for a moment. He was confused. Mitsuhiro sat there, staring at a black screen. Mitsuhiro gave a sigh. It was more horrible than Kaleb could imagine. The deaths, the blood covered floor, bullets flying through the room. A single tear slid down Mitsuhiro's face. He wiped it away with a sniffle. Kaleb walked towards him, a worried look on his face, and for the first time since the two had first fought they talked.
"What's wrong?" Kaleb asked with a concerned look upon his face.

"I am afraid that I saw something so horrifying that you couldn't possibly imagine it. There was so much blood- so many deaths."
"Who did it? Who killed them?" asked Kaleb. He didn't even know who the dead people were, why was he asking a question?
"This company. Fighters, and the head of I.P.M. was right behind them. It was so scary, I was afraid to say anything, I saw it when we were in the simulator room that night last year, you know, when we stole the motor thing in it? Students in there were killed."
"Nobody wants to get into wars, but the truth is that kindness is the last thing you want in a battle. We're not fighting now, so it's okay. We will though. When the time comes, I'm going to fight I.P.M. with everything that I've got. Are you with me?" Kaleb nodded.
"If what they are doing is wrong then we must fight, it leaves us with no other choice." Kaleb said slowly.

"We as a nation don't want to battle, but it looks like everyone besides us believe that I.P.M. is merely a school, and is peaceful. I think that they're running some kind of an operation. Why would they be training us other-wise? To make peace with the aliens? What a load of garbage. We all know aliens aren't in this universe, if at all." sighed Mitsuhiro. Kaleb sat down on his own bed.
"As long as we are in this together we are going to have to keep on fighting. Once we start you do realize that we won't be able to stop, right? Once we become fighter pilots the battle field will be our homes." sighed Mitsuhiro, who had by now turned his head to face Kaleb. Kaleb's face was slightly red, and he lowered it.

"What's wrong?" asked Mitsuhiro, looking at Kaleb questioningly. Mitsuhiro was beginning to get worried.
"It's- it's just that I've had to grow up so very much is such little time, I just want to be a child again. I don't want to fight. Fighting isn't my life! I don't want to be like that! If we fight, aren't we just lowering ourselves to the level of this company?" cried Kaleb. He wanted to scream, he wanted to shout out to the world that it was corrupted. But it wouldn't have helped. Nothing would have helped.
"I'm sorry, but I can't do anything about that to help you. All we can do now is prepare to fight. We'll have to keep fighting for peace. For now we'll have to keep training." sighed Mitsuhiro heavily. This wasn't the greatest of subjects. Neither wanted to discuss it.
"I don't want a life of fighting! There has to be an answer other than war! Please Mitsuhiro, don't make me fight. Anything else, I'll do anything else, just don't make me fight. I beg of you." Kaleb sniffled, in an upset mannerism. Kaleb was more distressed than usual.
"No. You have to fight. As do I. It's our destiny." Mitsuhiro said slowly. Kaleb turned his head away, now full of anger and spite.
"I don't believe in destiny." he said with protest.

"Ergh! This is getting to much like a soap-opera on television. This is real life! There are no script-writers, camera men, producers, directors, and we're not actors! So don't get emotional with me! I thought that you wanted to be a pilot! I thought that it was your dream!" shouted an upset Mitsuhiro. They both turned their heads away from each other, both refusing to confront the other.
"What if this really all is a television show? What if were are merely actors? When will our final act be?" questioned Kaleb in a slow, sad voice. Mitsuhiro gave a deep sigh. Neither liked to talk of death, nor the events that could lead up to it. Mitsuhiro was too silly.
"I'm willing to take that chance." Mitsuhiro pouted defiantly. Kaleb stood there for a moment, wavering slightly, he felt invisible.
"Come on." said Mitsuhiro, suddenly leaping off of his bed, and headed towards the door. Kaleb followed feeling awkward.
"Hey! Where are we going?" Kaleb said a few moments later as they were walking out of the building. It was still early in the morning. Kaleb was partially clothed, coming back from the gym, wearing an under-shirt and shorts. It was rather cold out, as it was still February. Kaleb's thoughts drifted back to death. What happened to them after death? What then?
