Blade of Hope v
s. The Dark Katana

We all know the tale of the evil wizard that split Inuki's power into a blade, then that blade was duplicated. So here's the two big questions I have that I'm sure everyone is dying to know; firstly, if his power was split and he was evil then it makes sense that the blade was of light, but why not fire? Why not go the whole way and do the opposite of ice? Well, quite simple. It's the opposite of his personality, not elements. You see, personality is much stronger, and harder to change, if it does change it is a very gradual process. The second question that comes to my mind right now would be the second blade. It gets a little confusing here. If Inuki is mostly evil, and a sword of light is fashioned from his opposite, then wouldn't it be fitting to then take the opposite of the light sword, and fashion yet another one, but this one of darkness? Another thing would be this: If the blade was one third of Inuki's power, he was left with two thirds, correct? Yes, so then when the second blade was created it was not created from him, but rather a copy of the other blade, therefore it should either be an additional one third (making Inuki and the Blade of Hope together a full three thirds, plus the Dark Katana, an extra third.) or making Inuki keep two thirds, plus the two blades each equalling 1/6th? (or 1.5/3). My response to this question would be "Yes, but it's too messy that way. I don't want to get involved with a bunch of mathematical work if that keeps us behind, and delays the story line, sorry if this causes any huge plot holes, but lets just say that since the swords are magic, and they are linked to Inuki, the magical bonds between the three channel the magic equally to each other so that they are all at equal amounts of power at all times."
