Inuki x Brent
(From Brent's Point of View)

It is a stormy evening, rain pours down on the small building where Inuki and I happen to be taking shelter. Our food supply is low, and we have lost Lynette.
" So. Inuki. What are we going to do?" I say as the building appears to loom over us. Lightning streaks across the sky as if it were a racing car.
"I don't know. We've got to get some food, shelter was the first thing, now food." grumbles Inuki, and I begin to wish we had tried to find some place better to sleep.
"Wonder if it's haunted?" I whimper, glancing up at the creaky old building. It's so creepy looking, a gray, miserable-looking building.
"Why should you be scared? You're a vampire for god's sake." growled Inuki, nasty as ever, but I know he's only pretending. He bangs on the door.
"Hello? Anyone in there? Let us in!" he shouts. We're both soaked, and I rub a hand through my hair, as water splashes onto my already wet face.
"I still don't like all ghosts.." I begin to say as the door slowly creaks open by itself. I jump backwards in shock, and hear thunder. More lightning flashes over-head
" What the- It's like a horror movie.." I stutter fearfully. And I am right, but Inuki doesn't seem to care. It's all the same to him. He never seems to care about anything.
"Only it's NOT a horror movie dimwit." replied Inuki, his voice solid as a rock. I want to run, but I don't. I know I'll be safe if Inuki's around. I try to lighten the mood.
"I prefer romance movies myself." I chuckle, then as a funny gesture I gaze adoringly at Inuki. He obviously doesn't like this and pretends to Ignore my comment. Instead he grabs my sleeve and drags me into the building.

"Hmm.. I wonder if this place really IS haunted?" I mumble awkwardly as I look a the ancient room. Suddenly the door is slammed closed behind us. Inuki turns around to face the door, expecting to see an enemy, but there is nobody there. I'm getting scared now, but it isn't all bad. I don't mind being trapped somewhere with Inuki.
" It was just the wind stupid. You are such a little sissy." Inuki sighs with relief, but he tries not to show it. He never tries to show any emotion. But that's Inuki for you.
"Well sorry Inuki." I mumble, implying slight sarcasm in my voice. I'm glad I'm here with him, because I know it's warm, and there's probably going to be a nice soft bed.
"Don't say sorry to me, say it to your stupid non-existant ghosts." he grunts. Acting all fierce again Inuki? I know it's just an act of yours. Suddenly I hear a strange clanking sound. I moves closer to Inuki on instinct. I'm beginning to get scared. I fear the unknown. The "neverknows." I never know things, like how he'll react to something that I say, or whether I'll ever find out what really happened to my parents, or when I'll die.

"Ooh.. I'm scared Inuki! It sounds like clanking chains! There's a ghost with chains here! I'm sure of it! Like that Christmas Carol book!" I say quickly, moving even closer.
"Oh shaddap. It's just a gate creaking or something. You're a hopeless dramatic, you know that Brent?" Inuki sighs, pushing me away.
"Yeah, and you're just hot, you know that Inuki?..." grinning with my quick come-back. That was the funniest thing I'd said in a while.
" Wha-?" Inuki muttered, staring at me is disbelief. I don't think he was quite expecting that, but I don't think that I was quite expecting myself to say it either!
"Whoops! Did I say THAT??" I mumble, blushing a bright crimson.
"Don't make me beat the crap out of you, You know I will!" he snarls. I close my mouth, my face still bright red. Suddenly I see a ghostly shadow in the corner of the room"
"Agh! Gh-gh-ghost!" and now the shadow begins to move across the wall! Slowly, it creeps nearer and nearer! Inuki just gives a heavy sigh.
"Where Brent? Where?" he grumbles. I points, shuddering, , my finger wiggling crazily. Suddenly the shadow vanishes as Inuki looks at where I point
"I don't see anything." he groans.
"Th-that's because it vanished!" I whimper.
"You're crazy Brent. Your mind is playing tricks on you." Inuki grumbles. He turns, seeing two doors and a staircase. He then begins to wonder which way to go.
"Inuki. . . I'm scared. Promise me you won't go anywhere without me tonight. Please?" I mumble. This place is really creeping me out- big time!
"Fine, but What if I have to go the bathroom?" Inuki grumbles. I think that I'm really pissing him off right about now. But I know I'll be safe if he's around.
"I'll wait outside the door." I reply.

"Now, which way do we go?" he asks to nobody in particular. I shrug. How should I know?
"I don't know. But if you find a creepy tower don't go up it! It's bound to be some evil warlock, and if you find stairs leading down don't go down them if they lead to a dungeon, and don't open a door if it leads to an ancient prison full of skeletons or-" I am cut off by Inuki.
"Stop Babbling!" he snaps.He raises an angry fist, but then decides not to let his temper get the better of him, lowers his hand, and turns around again
"I guess.. I'll open..... This door!" he says, pointing to the one on the right, which would obviously be the one on the left! He steps towards the door, puts his hand on the knob.. as I inch backwards in fear of what lurks within the door. As he opens the door, it reveals a dazzling room. There is an extremely long table in the center, candles light up the room, and a large light from above glows with an eerie mist. The table cloth is dark red with gold trimming and on the table are trays and trays of food. Most of the room is dark. I shudder, but not because it's cold.
"This reminds me of one of those.. vampire movies." I whimper. He gives me that look that lets me know that he Is about ready to smack me across the face.
"You ARE a vampire nitwit!" he growls angrily.

"Oh. Am I? Whoops. I always seem to forget that." I mumble, feeling a little light-headed at the moment, half scared out of my wits, half dizzy.
"Why don't you go away Brent? You're so annoying." Inuki grumbles, trying to figure out what to do next.
"I resent that! I'm just annoying. Not ''so annoying''. Inuki just smacks himself in the head. I read his mind to see what he is thinking.
"Why do I even bother?" he thinks to himself.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): .oO( Why does Inuki always have to be so mean to me? )
Inuki **Human**: **Walks towards the food** Let's just eat.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Yah! Food! **Runs towards the table, slipping on the carpet, he looses his balance, tumbling awkwardly, and falling onto Inuki, grabbing Inuki from behind as an only means of
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): support**
Inuki **Human**: **Is attacked from behind** What the he- **Turns his head** Brent. What did I tell you about hugging me?
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Uum.. Uuuh. **Blushes** But I was only- I couldn't- And then I- And I- But I- Fell and I- Had to grab- And...
Inuki **Human**: **Pushes Brent away angrily**
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Begins to slip and fall, but manages to regain his balance. Mutters something.. turns around slightly.. suddenly seeing a dark shadow again.. this time a ghostly figure floats
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): out of the wall** Gh-gh-gh! Inuki....
Inuki **Human**: What now Brent?
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): I-I-I Really think y-you should turn around..
Inuki **Human**: Not now. I've got some food to eat, and a bed to find.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): N-n-no! I really think you should see this!
Inuki **Human**: What is it now? **Turns around just as the ghostly figure and the shadow vanish** Well?
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Looks back at Inuki, then at the wall again** It was there! I swear!
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Turns back to Inuki, a pleading look on his face** Please Inuki, you've got to believe me when I say I love y- I mean.. you've got to believe me when I say I saw what I saw!
Inuki **Human**: Oh give it up Brent. Let's just eat.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Sighs** Fine Inuki. But if you weren't you then I wouldn't listen to you. .oO( Wait. That made absolutely no sense, did it?)
Inuki **Human**: .oO( Every time I tell Brent how much I hate him he only goes after me more. There's got to be a way to get rid of him once and for all, but how?!)
Inuki **Human**: **Sits down at the table.**
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Also sits down**
Inuki **Human**: **Takes some meat and puts it on the plate at his table, ignores the fork and knife, and begins to gnaw on the meat.**
Inuki **Human**: **Doesn't look up from the food** Brent, will you pass me the salt?
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Uuh. Okay. **Is about to get up, when the salt magically floats up.. and floats towards Inuki's hand*
Inuki **Human**: **Takes the floating salt out of the air** That's the first good thing you've done all day.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): But Inuki! It- it- it wasn't me! I didn't even stand up!
Inuki **Human**: **Looks up at Brent** Of course you did, the salt didn't just get up and walk into my hand.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Mutters** Close enough. Flew up and floated into your hand.
Inuki **Human**: What did you say? **Scarfs down the food hungrily**
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Sighs** Nevermind, forget it.
Inuki **Human**: Okay. **Shovels down some more food**
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Huh? **Looks up as the platters and salad begin doing a floating dance whilst the drinks and the cups begin doing a bunny-hop in mid-air**
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Oh good grief. **Looks down** I am NOT seeing this.. I am not seeing this.. I am not seeing this **Mutters**
Inuki **Human**: **Finishes shovelling down the food**
nuki **Human**: **Cut to the end of the meal. They are finished eating, and back at the entrance room**
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Is holding Inuki's arm, much to Inuki's protest.. whimpers remembering that this room was where he first saw the shadow**
Inuki **Human**: **Sighs** This is ridiculous.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Mumbles something** I swear I saw them.. I swear..
Inuki **Human**: I'm going up the stairs, tower or no tower.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Whimpers** Fine..
Inuki **Human**: **Bravely stomps up the steps**
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Follows, his eyes trailing across the room**
Inuki **Human**: **Finds himself walking to the top of the stairs. There is a long hallway with doors. Chooses only of the closer ones randomly. Opens the door with a creak, steps inside**
Inuki **Human**: **Yawns** I'm worn out. I'm going to sleep. **Hops into the bed, only bothering to take off his swords and his boots**
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Also jumps in after Inuki after taking off his shoes. Blows out the candle and puts his arms around Inuki. He shivers, but not from the cold.**
Inuki **Human**: **Sighs, closes his eyes, an arm around Brent**
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **A few hours later he awakens, he thinks he hears a sound.** What the-
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Suddenly he looks at the wall.. blood is dripping down the wall** Huh? **His eyes grow wide, and he clutches the sleeping Inuki tighter**
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Nudges Inuki** Hey.. Psst. Inuki.. Wake up.. Please..Inuki **Human**: **Moans something about Aunty Athabasca in Alaska eating Pasta**
Inuki **Human**: **Falls back asleep again**
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Whimpers.. The blood spews out of the wall quicker, and a shadow darts across the room.. he winces... and then the ghostly figure reappears in the room. It is a faint image of a
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): young woman. She appears to be from an ancient time, and looks like a projection of some type**
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Suddenly black and white ghostly-images surround him, they began spinning around his head wildly.. he is extremely scared, tears pouring from his eyes** INUKI! W-wake up!
Inuki **Human**: **Yawns.. rubs his eyes.. ** Wha- huh? Brent? What's wrong?
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Once more the ghosts all vanish along with the blood without a trace**
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): N-nothing. Nevermind. Go back to sleep.
Inuki **Human**: Okay, man. Whatever you say **Closes his eyes**
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **The woman figure reappears** Who are you?
Ghost Woman: I have a story you need to hear.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): You talked?
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): By God's name I charge thee tell me this story and I shall listen.
Ghost Woman: Well, a long time ago this house was built for me by a man. A man who loved me.
Ghost Woman: I didn't love him. I loved another, but I never spoke up at the time, so he never knew I loved him. I was always too embarassed.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): How is this relevant to me?
Ghost Woman: You and.. **Points to Inuki** over there.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): I've told him I like him a million times. How will doing it again help?
Ghost Woman: You've told him, but you haven't actually shown it.
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): Oh? And you're saying I'll be doomed to become a ghost when I die? I can't. I'm a Vampire!
Ghost Woman: It does not matter. You must make yourself known. Promise mee.. Promise mee. **Her eyes bulge, her face peeling away, becoming a skeleton covered in blood, the blood figure falls

Ghost Woman: to the floor in a pile of dust, a sudden wind bursts into the room, and the dust is blown away with the wind** Remmmeemmmbeeer..
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): **Nods** I will remember.. **Suddenly the room flashes** Now what? **And then it is gone.. it is morning.. and they are laying on a rusty old bed.. in the middle of a thick forest
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): ** **Yawns..** Inuki?
Inuki **Human**: **Moans** What?
Brent (Blonde Haired Teenager): How about if we stay here for another hour or so? **Hugs Inuki tightly**
Inuki **Human**: Uuh. Okay.. **Closes his eyes, and goes back to sleep**
