Queen
               Queen - "A Night at the Opera"  DVD-Audio  (Kazaamies = 3 of 5)

This is the monster album that gave us the epic song "Bohemian Rhapsody".  (You may recall this song from the Wayne's World movie.)  Surround mixer extraordinaire, Elliot Scheiner, is on board for this 5.1-channel release.  I think band-member Brian May also had some input.  It's a fairly aggressive mix.  And I've heard enough people comment that they really like this DVD-Audio release, so it's certainly all right.  However, I've always had a hard time listening to "A Night at the Opera" on DVD-Audio.  Partly, it's because I'm not the biggest Queen fan around.  However, I just don't think the recording sounds particularly "Hi-Fi", if you will.  It's an old recording and, in my opinion, it hasn't aged well.  I'm sure everyone has done their best, but it sounds rather harsh to me.  One cool bonus feature is the music video for "Bohemian Rhapsody" presented in DTS 5.1 surround sound.  I like that!
