The band's self-titled debut album has a slightly more traditional bluegrass sound to it than some of their other albums. Though, it still is much moreso a "Newgrass" sound. Or, rather, it's just some excellent acoustic music might be the best description. The recording quality found on this hybrid SACD is close enough to audiophile levels and the surround mix by Gary Paczosa is quite enjoyable. I love the song "The Lighthouse's Tale".
