Released in 2002, this is the Grammy-nominated follow-up album to 1997's "Hourglass". The songs here are still pretty good, though, perhaps not as memorable as some of the tunes on "JT" or even "Hourglass". The surround mix on this disc is quite a departure from the style found on the previous two Super Audio CDs. I don't know who did the mix, but it spreads the vocals across the main left/right speakers and doesn't focus on the center channel to anywhere near the extent that "JT" or "Hourglass" do. Surround instrumentation is fairly light, too. This is a high-quality recording that, while it won't surprise you, is quite an easy listen.
