This album has lots of catchy songs. The surround mix on this single-layer disc is mildly aggressive. Surrounds are used mostly for ambience and light instrumentation. The focus is up front, where the vocals are spread across the left, center, and right channels. On my system, I feel the center channel is just a wee tad louder than it needs to be---but channel level adjustments on my amplifier can help here. Overall, this is a great disc.
