This is the very first Super Audio CD that I ever purchased. 'Chameleon' is just completely funky! And 'Watermelon Man' sounds incredible! Sonics seem pretty good for an older album. I really like the surround mix, too. There isn't anything that I find particularly annoying. Though, there is some occasional soloing done in one of the rear channels which takes a little getting used to. (Note: Headhunters was originally released as a stereo-only SA-CD, so if you want the multi-channel release be sure to double-check the packaging. Also, this is a single layer disc; so no CD compatibility.)
