Don't let the fact that this is a classical piece scare you off! Biggs plays the four different organs of the Cathedral of Freiburg simultaneously. (There is a central console that allows him to do so.) So, basically, the mix puts an organ in each of the front left/right and surround left/right speakers. There seems to be quite a bit of 'air' in these recordings and, perhaps, slight background hiss---you hear it disappear between tracks---but, trust me, this thing sounds awesome! I'm someone who isn't generally a fan of classical music, but I highly recommend this disc.
