Even if we ignore the fact you can get this hybrid disc for around $10.00 it'd still be worth buying. This disc contains a sampling of 13 songs from the Concord Jazz label's available SACD offering, including Rosemary Clooney and Tito Puente. All the songs are offered in multi-channel surround sound and are terrific, but my absolute favorite is Poncho Sanchez's performance of "Watermelon Man". It just makes me want to get up off the couch and shake my booty! Not surprisingly, the surround mixes vary in their style; but the overall feel of these mixes is somewhat more agressive in the surrounds than just natural ambience.
Volume 2 is another quality multi-channel disc. I like the songs on the first sampler a little better, though.
