This 1978 release from the Piano Man sounds terrific thanks to the SACD treatment. Sonics are fairly detailed and warm. Moreover, the surround mix by Frank Filipetti is one of the best! Center width isn't too narrow and the surrounds are full of action, yet they complement the mains oh so very well. The album contains the hit songs "Big Shot" and "Honesty", but it really hits its stride once we get to "My Life" and things keep going strong until the album closes with the title track. If you ever get a chance to listen to this disc be sure to check out the finger snaps at the beginning of "Stiletto". It's awesome! (btw... This is a single-layer SACD, so there is no CD compatibility.)
