Shaharut: It is located north of Eilat in an experimental settlement set on a cliff high above the Arava rift valley in the heart of the Negev Desert. It was founded in the 1980's by Hanegibi to reconstruct the spirit of ancient camel caravans combining wildlife, plant life and human cultures surviving in the desert. Nabbatean merchants traveled this route with their spices on their way from Yemen to Rome.
