COMMAND AND CONQUER: TIBERIAN SUN
I'm pretty new to these games, but I think that they're funner than heck anyway. Tiberian Sun is honestly my favorite of the C&C games because it's just funner, and the graphics are better. Let's just discuss why this is my favorite C&C game.

The graphics are just awesome. I gave them a 10 because, well, unless you haven't seen this game, you know they're great. These are some of the best PC graphics I've ever seen, and this game is three years old! The graphics are still considered state of the art today! I just wish that Red Alert 2 used the same graphics engine instead of the disappointing one it sports.

This game is a strategy combat. C&C is the original strategy combat, so don't be confused by those stupid imitations like MechCommander. These games are just plain fun because you can play them totally different than your friends do. One friend may play the game a different way and choose different tweaks, where you might just stay and watch your base. You can choose how many people are guarding the base and how many people are adventuring out to kill soldiers in the unmapped land. You build power plants, bunkers, and more just to keep your soldiers alive. The game is really unique in the tweaking department, and I like tweaking options in my video games. If you want to make more soldiers, build barracks, which will create more soldiers to replace the ones lost in combat. It's a blast to play and a blast to watch someone else play.

You select campaigns or skirmishes. Personally, they're both fun to do, but when you get a little tired of dying on the campaigns, just take over and test your luck on the skirmish mode, which is just as fun, if not even a little funner. You can choose your enemy difficulty, choose team colors, etc. The point is, you actually feel in control in C&C:TS because, well, you are!

The only place this game falls short on is its AI. The AI is fairly balanced for the most part, but when you tell one of your soldiers to go somewhere, he'll often choose the longest, most time-consuming way to get there. If there's a small hill in his way, he'll walk around it for 200 ft. The enemy AI can get pretty stupid as well; sometimes it takes six of your soldiers to kill off one. And sometimes, your soldiers won't even go after the enemy, they'll just stand there letting it kill them off. A small complaint, but it's a pretty big deal.

Despite this flaw, this game is great. I bought the Command and Conquer: Theater of War for $20 at Wal-Mart. It comes with FOUR games, on EIGHT discs: Command and Conquer, Tiberian Sun, Red Alert, Red Alert 2. That's a huge value! For $20, these games are worth every penny! I highly suggest that you go out now and buy this at an amazingly low price. Remember, don't just play Tiberian Sun, you have three other games in there as well! ;)
