| White Enlightenment By Amber Rothrock Oh, weary traveler, will you not rest awhile? You have been wandering alone, searching for something that cannot exist in this arid landscape. Have a drink from the River of Life and refresh your minds eye. Youve been searching for that place of peace you left when you were born. A place youve been but cannot reach. Youve heard it once, told by the mystics: To the top of Mount Lushan to achieve spiritual oneness. These treks across the desert will only parch your soul! But mystics speak in riddles and no mountain in China will release the burdens that you carry or the trouble youve brought upon yourself. For it is not a place but a state you seek. A state of being that can only exist in your lovers eye or your childs laughter, or the sun shining through your clouded window. So have a drink from the River of Life that leads you to your own Mount Lushan. Return |
