Black Glitter
By Sandra Hedin

A speck becomes a gaping hole
Growing more to then enfold
A prick becomes a gaping wound
Spilling out into the gloom

Darkness in the glitter
Fire in the blood
Choking on the bitter
Listening to the thud
There is such a vastness
Where there is no light
Glitter in the darkness
Fire in the night

A ripple grows into a wave
It grows too big, I am its slave
Caught in silence underneath
Pounds the most when I am weak

Darkness in the glitter
Fire in the blood
I wish I wasnt brittle
And taken by the flood
There is such a vastness
Where there is no light
Glitter in the darkness
Fire in the night
