ILLOGICAL MUSE was launched December 2004. Its goal was simple and apparently laughable. It was created to give all writers from every walk of life a place to be published without fear of rejection. For the first 2 years, no rejections were ever made. Possibly because no one knew who the hell I was back then and not more than 50 submissions a year headed my way. Now, I do make rejections but try to keep them to a minimum, accepting approximately 95% of the material I receive. I guess my goal now is to publish what I believe to be quality poetry, fiction, artwork and essays. And though I still publish work from the more experienced and well known I am always excited to discover new talent and publish children and teens as well. |
