| CSL Summary: Level 3 of Conculsion of �The Witches 3� When we left our story, our friend Cronan/Eric (the second witch of the Coven of Darkness Falls) had been taken by Maharet to Sonoma, where she was currently caring for him. His old companion Savage now the blood demon of Lestat was granted permission by Lestat to stay with him until he was strong again. Please refer to the Level 2 Update for further briefing if necessary. Kehleb de�Faye proved again to be a cunning opponent in the last level of this storyline. He tormented Rowan Mayfair consistently, due to a deep infatuation with her. The story follows Kehleb thru numerous attacks some on Rowan Mayfair and on various ancients; none are successful. During his scheming he brings forth 3 demons, Esharra, Shem and Ningal to assist him in his battle against Lestat and the ancients. At this time he is also seeking the �Blood Amulet� a bloodstone amulet the Mordred Gallagher had empowered and was capable of draining the life energy from an ancient and forcing them into eternal sleep. The amulet had been given to Cronan by Mordred for safe keeping. Knowledge of this amulet comes to the ancients and they begin to search for it while Lestat seeks for Kehleb. Esharra a seductress demon was sent to Lestat to enchant him and render him defenseless for Kehleb to capture, but Esharra breaks confidence due to Lestat�s charm and foils Kehleb�s plans once more. Cronan/Eric remembers where the �Blood Amulet� is and retrieves it for Maharet and the ancients in Miami, but being he is now reborn to his vamperic state, he becomes affected by the amulet and grows weaker daily. A short time later Lestat, Cronan/Eric and Savage the Blood Demon allow themselves to be captured in order to meet Kehleb on his own turf. They free themselves once in the sanctuary of Kehleb and attack him, the Witch who wished to create a new race of vamperic witches, is defeated on his own ground, and taken by Lestat and Eric to a Lesser's existence. As Kehleb lays in misery, changing into this lesser form, Cronan/Eric reveals more of Kehleb�s dark plans and explains that Lestat�s blood has the power to heal him from the effects of the �Blood Amulet�. Lestat feds Cronan/Eric restoring healing him and they return to Sonoma to confirm that all is well. Kehleb, his plans destroyed, falls into madness and is left by the Ancients and the demon to deal with his failure. The �Blood Amulet� was then given to Rowan who was instructed by the ghost Merrick in a dream on the process to destroy the empowerment that it had received from Mordred. All went well for a bit but Lestat could not rest until he found and reclaimed the �Book of Magnus�, knowing that until he did so, the information it held would be a risk for their kind. Using the memories of Kehleb that he gained when he destroyed him Lestat traveled to a monastery where he found a child who was actually an entrapped angelic soul. Using Kehleb�s own rituals he reversed the spell of entrapment, releasing the angelic soul, the �Book of Magnus� was then left in her stead. Lestat reclaimed the book and is the only ancient that knows where it is to this day. Thus the Tale of the Witches 3 has concluded.
