| Dear Aunt Susan, Much has happened since my last letter. I am sorry they have been so few and far between, but there as been a lot for me to deal with, as my letters have explained. This letter will make up for all that. After Jake was taken to the asylum, something terrible happened. Charles took control of my body and murdered a young woman, and I was pretty much wandering the streets until I found Father Sean St. Clair. He took me in when I couldn�t go anywhere else, and gave me hope that Charles would be able to be exorcised from my mind. He whisked me away to the estate of Roman Degardt, where he began to work with me on controlling Charles. It was there that I rediscovered my talent and love of drawing and sketching. It is therapy for me even now. Roman is wonderful, Aunt Susan. Just wait until you meet him! He has done so much for me � I think I fell in love with him the first time I met him. But I am getting ahead of myself. Not much happened for quite some time. In the early days of my stay at Roman�s estate, I was sedated a lot, because Charles emerged quite a number of times. After that, I think he learned that if he waited, he would get his chance. And get it, he did. One day he took control of my body and seized a gun that Roman kept under his pillow, firing it and managing to shoot Roman, almost killing him. I barely remember it happening � I thought I had been dreaming, but it turned out that I was horribly wrong. I was arrested, then. I�m sure you�ve heard of it on the news. It was all over the place here in L.A. The trial date was set, and although Roman was not going to press charges, all the evidence in the murder of the young woman pointed to me. I was sure there was going to be jail time. For the first few days after I was arrested, I remained in the hospital, under guard and observation, and it was there that I discovered the most wonderful news. I am pregnant with Roman�s baby, and we are both so happy. But I am sure you want to know the results of the trial. They are not as bad as you might expect, considering what the charges were. First, however, I will tell you about the trial itself. It was relatively short � due to unforeseen circumstances that arose, that being Charles deciding to make an appearance. I am not all that clear on what happened there either, although from what I am told, he tried to attack the judge and the court clerk before Father Sean was able to exorcise him. He is gone now, and I can finally sleep peacefully. The judge ordered that I be sent to a treatment facility for observation for a period of three months, and that is where I am now. Roman, being the man that he is, pulled some strings to have me set up in The Sisters of Perpetual Mercy Nursing Facility, which seems more like a quaint vacationing spot than a hospital. I have my own cottage with a live-in nurse, and a doctor that comes by every day to see how I am doing, and Roman is staying at the cottage next to mine while he convalesces. It is peaceful here, and my artwork is flourishing, as is my relationship with Roman. After all the pain that I have suffered, I am finally learning to be happy again. | Dear Louie, Things have been hectic yes, not that I have been avoiding you. As far as Marius, he�s doing well at the castle estate teaching a new student Miss Arkayda. Maharet�s concerns over Arkayda should be mellowed now since I did prove she would be healed by the gift. Her temperament is calm and well educated; she�s doing very well with Marius as her caretaker. You should meet her Louis, she reminds me of you. I�m happy your enjoying your stay in Paris with Avan and equally happy that you may be returning to the canyon soon. The woman Rudah does seem to be doing well, and yes Shadow still stays with her. She has been working with that child the demon saved a few months ago, seeing ghosts I hear. Things are going well at Sister�s, a couple new bartenders, and a new Dance Troupe has made business move. Don�t worry my love your cut will be substantial. Your question regarding who is staying here at the estate surprised me Louie, but I guess you will have to wait till you come home to confirm the rumors in your mind. You worry too much my friend, a nasty habit that will give you no rest, so just relax, I�m fine, in fact I�m excellent. In closing, I must ask a favor; there are two documents attached that need to be given to Maharet, she has been following these situations since one does concern Cro and Savage. There is an investigative summary of their subjects last 30 days of activity and a letter that was intercepted from the McCamfrey girl. Please make sure she gets them or Marius will have my head.
