Mommy Gloria(58) is a headmistress at a highschool and an english teacher (but she doesn't have to do with all my mistakes in english.. she encouraged me to study but wasn't my teacher). Every day of these past 10 years or so I've been thanking her for not letting me drop out of english classes. She is the most practical person on earth...like a female version to McGyver. She is a very wise and strong woman, I hope I inherited some of that...mm it doesn't come in the DNA??..oops... :-)
Paola(26) the new "licence to kill".. has just become a doctor. She is a brilliant student (erm I should say Dr.) and even though she claims she's *not* intelligent...yes she says that even after coming out third on a competitive examination that 260 other students took. So yes..she is brillant *and* humble. I am really proud of her..even though she doesn't believe there's a reason for it.
Ana(22) is going to be a Technician in dairy products "la reina del queso de fuego" as Paul called her :-) She loves animals and has a connection with them that's unbelievable. She gets along better with them than with people :-) Well at least with the people that don't really know her. She never ceases to amaze me with her reactions.. although I learnt my lesson and I don't fuck around when she's not in the mood for my jokes ;-) hola ana!!!
Mario(19) the musical genious, I just wish I could have his ear and play the piano as he does. He's also awesome with people.. I don't know what he does but he bewitches people with his personality. I collect Tori Amos CD's.. he collects pianos and harmoniums, that should say something about him and his love for instruments. He is a piano player but moving into an Organ player pretty soon I expect. He loves pipe organs and will be studying Organbuilding at the Oberlinger Factory in Germany.
Hayd�e(79) my granny has been sharing her appartment with me for the last 5 years.. what can I say about her.. I owe her more than I can describe. She is "fashion emergency" she'd love to see me dress with some other clothes etc. she is always dressed really neat and takes care of herself. I certainly didn't get anything from her in that aspect.. :-) She can talk anyones ears off...she could go on for hours... I love her :) and I thank god for the invention of headphones too ;-)
Margarita(82) is my granny who lives in la paloma. Two years ago I went to spend my birthday just with her. I had a great week there.. oh and guess what, I discovered that not only I have her eyes.. but I know now where does my taste for beer comes from :-) She is a very strong person and has quite a temper. She is the sweetest *if* you don't contradict her :-) I have the greatest memories from my childhood at her place.
Suzanne(28) my sister from the USA and everything I would like to be = Jobless and traveling around the world ;-D I share so many things with her that it is kind of crazy to think she was born and lived most of her life in such a different culture. yet she cares for things I should care more about .. I wish I had her strenght... she has dealt with things I don't think I'd be able to. I love her and wish we don't have to wait another ten years to see eachother again.
