Have you ever thought of a dromaesaurid as a bird? Most scientists do.In fact, scientists are nearly positive that dromaesaurids evolved into birds.First of all, a raptor's arms, vertebrate, tailbone and hipbone are very similar to a bird's.
Raptors probably had feathers and may had even acted like birds.
One of the raptors close relative also had feathers, and it
could fly. This close relative, (Archaeopteryx) is proved to be
the link between dinosaurs and birds. All this leads to the fact that dromaesaurids were basicly, birds.Even the name raptor
means, bird of prey.So next time you think of a raptor, will
you think of a dromaesaurid...or a bird.
