Pharmacy Center - Part of the link above, but thought it deserved to be separated. This page lists over 100 common meds that Vets prescribe everyday. Don't just give your dogs anything, know what you're giving them, what the side affects are, what are the generic names for them, etc..

Flea & Tick Control - We use Frontline Plus on all our dogs. Read about it, use it & you won't regret it. We use it once every 3-4 months. You MUST treat EVERY dog on the yard, if not it's pointless. Search here on: Ebay, they have great deals. TIP: Buy the largest size possible & you just split it between dogs. You get a better deal buying the 6 tube box than the 3 tube box.

~~WARNING~~ on ProHeart 6 - Heart Worm Prevention Shot. Dogs are DYING and almost all dogs get reactions. DO NOT give this to your dogs. Fort Dodge is the manufacturer of this product and has issued a warning. This is from the FDA report as of last month for ProHeart 6.

What we use...

Intestinal Worms Prevention: We use a Pyrantel Pamoate based wormer. We de-worm every dog, every single month. They come in 32oz bottles and labeled for humans for treatment of pinworms, but widely used in kennels & catteries to control round, hook & threadworms (type of roundworm).

Heart Worm Prevention: We use Ivomec 1% EVERY SINGLE MONTH YEAR-ROUND. We just bought some at Revival Animal Health at a very good price.

Flea & Tick Prevention: We use Frontline plus every 3 months on every dog on the yard yearround. See information above.

Coccidia Prevention: We use Albon on all litters. We treat them at 6 weeks old for 1 week. We use this as a prevention. Better safe then sorry. Albon (Sulfadimethoxine) is widely used as an economical treatment for Cocci, bacterial enteritis & respiratory infections.

Albon - Gallon (Reg $45.50) SALE! $422.50 - Labeled for Poultry & Cattle, but measured correctly it can be used safely on dogs and pups.
