"Two Face Bud" *Retired/Neutered Couch Potato* Weight: 53-55lbs (show weight) (75-80lbs overweight couch potato lol) Comments: Well let's see, what can be said about this old big boy... He has a rock steady temperamant since he was a pup, He's intelligent, loves everyone, obedient, strong & as lazy as a lazy bulldog can be, especially now in his old age lol. He loves nothing more than to lounge around, sleep & eat, except when it's time to run & explore our woods, he's always up for that & the occasional swim in the springs. In his younger days he did earn his ADBA CONFORMATION CHAMPION Title & he's also an ADBA WEIGHT PULL ACE & trust, a solid bulldog. He is a great friend, pal & companion & why we dedicate this page to him! He will be sorely missed when it's his turn to cross over, which hopefully won't be for quite a while, he's my last bed buddy now! Thanks Mike for a great dog!!! Update: Bud has cancer now... you wouldn't know it by looking at his chunky ass or being around him. He's full of spunk, sometimes even more than in his younger days... Maybe it's all the vitamins, supplements and holistic treatments. As of Oct 2008 it's been 18 months since his May 2007 surgery/tumor removal that left a big ole scar on the left side of his face where the tumor was, which is the only sign of anything wrong with him. It was a Grade III and not a good prognisis. Now in Sept 08 he had another surgery to remove a tumor from his mouth, he has bone cancer now in hi s jaw and it's TERMINAL. We don't know how much time he has left with us, but believe me he is getting spoiled every minute of the day and more love than he's ever gotten. He's lived a GREAT life and hopefully will be around to see 2009, we can only pray, but it's up to God. |

Bud and his best gal pals.... The
old Lab "Misty"... she was his adopted *momma* when he was a pup and the
old grouchy Beagle "Shadee", who was his partner in the woods. They were
together 10 years every day of their lives basically. He just loved them
to pieces and protected them to no end. Don't let someone tell you any
different... a smart
bulldog knows who is friend or foe, Misty,
Shadee & Bud were friends till the end... Unfortunately we lost
our Misty at 11½ years old, not long after this 1st picture was
taken Nov 29, 2006. She lived a great long life for a 100lb dog, but it
doesn't hurt any less when you lose them, especially out of the blue. She
was a wonderful pet & our hearts ache for her everyday. We lost Misty
only 6 months after we lost Keena, who was my heart, my everything and
just 7 weeks after we lost Shadee in Oct 2006. For those that knew our
little, grouchy Beagle, Shadee, who was almost 12years old & had a
unoperable tumor in her liver & passed away during surgery, we tried
all we could to save her, but when it's your time, it's your time I guess.
All 3 of them, gone, within 6 months of eachother... Fucking life is not
fair... but they are at peace now...

Sorrell's on top and produced 1 VERY nice litter for us when bred to Keena.
