..::Hobbit::..

A magnificent little boar given to me by a friend when I was in the breeding game. My intention was to breed him, but I never got the chance before he died. I grew more and more attached to this little man, and soon his little job was swept out the door and room in my heart was made for his startling personality and his baby cute nose.

As Hobbit was a Satin, I had been told not to expect his lifespan to be at all long. But as he grew into a strong, hardy little boar I found hope in the thought that he might be an exception to the rule. Having lost Yoshe so recently to problems relating to being a Satin, I was well exposed to the outcome of such a breed. Hobbit died at 7 months of age, exhibiting no outward symptoms at all. A shock to us all, and a reminder to be thankful for their little blessings every day they are with you.

Rest in peace my little prince...
