| Game:Starfox adventures:Dinosaur planet rating:T players:1 memory:3 blocks The game will be rated as follows: 1-3=horrible never touch this stuff 4-6=below average very few people would like this game 7-8=average nothing special 9= great game worth atleast checking out 10= perfect could do next to nothing to get better every one should own these kind of games Opening statement: I would just like to start out by saying this game wasn't what I had expected.I expected to be like all the other Starfox games: a space shooter. I was wrong. It's more of a Zelda style game where you run around collecting magical items of great power and battle minions of the evil over lord along the way. Story: The game starts off with you being a blue girl fox riding a terradactal, shooting at a ship. Then you hurt the ship and get aboard. You meet General scales ,the tryrant over dinosaur planet. Then you somehow make it off and appear in a temple where you are trying to get a Krazoa Spirit. Then you get captured. So fox comes into the picture. He is told to save the planet and collect his bounty. He is told to collect 4 spell stones and restore the planet. 7.5/10 Gameplay/Controls: The gameplay for this game is generic there is a basic fight system where u rapidly tap A and whack the crap out of enemies, and u can use spells that your staff has by using the c stick to complete puzzles.despite all of this this game is very addicting once u pick it up it'll be hard to put down. 8.5/10 Graphics: First of all I think this aspect of a game is one of the least important ones.Anyway of all the games I have played I think is one of the most graphically impressive game ive seen, from fox's indivual hairs on his tail to the glow of the krazoa spirits. This game has truly great graphics. 9.5/10 Sound/voicing: The sound in this game is decent I guess nothing special when u whack a guy makes a smacking sound and when you take off in your ship makes whooshing sound...average.Now to the worst aspect of the game the voicing. first of all almost every one has British or Scottish accents which gets old really fast. Then there's Tricky your unwanted dinosaur companion who has with out a doubt there most annoying voice ever and says bad guy when ever and any one gets near, and always just pointing out the most obvious stuff...I hate him with every fiber of my being. 3/10 Music: I normally would put this with sound but I actually like the music in this game.It has same old heroic starfox music along with a couple other catchy tunes that made the game a more enjoyable experience. 9/10 Replay/Lasting value: I would first like to say that there are few games that I replay because I get bored with them after I beat them, so im not the best judge of that but still I don't thing there's much replay value here. The game has 15-20 hours of gameplay so I'd say that about a good amount for a non rpg these days. 7/10 Overall: I would only recommend this game to people who are zelda nuts/starfox fans/major title collectors. This game is nothing above average ,it ok at best no real reason to get this game. 7.6/10 (I averaged the other ratings to be fair) |
