Episode 36

Nate and Carrie are blissfully unaware that the net is closing in on them as they start to grow closer. Marc finally opens up to Megan on the truth about Ally, while Matt realizes that Alex is in love with Wesley and packs up and leaves just as Wesley realizes he doesn’t want to be second best with Alex, and only wants her if she wants him back. Madison and Joseph’s business lunch is interrupted by Diane, as Kendall begins to be suspicious of everyone around her, unaware of who sent her the note. Megan is shocked when she sees DiCenzo in town, causing her to act strangely with Marc, who thinks their relationship is over again. DiCenzo starts to piece together just who it was that Nate kidnapped and followed it with a visit to Greg. Leo and Natalie flirt more over drinks as Carrie’s sister, Kristen, arrives in Oakridge. Marc asks Megan to move in.

 

Episode 37

Greg, unaware of the truth, is sucked into DiCenzo’s lies and teams up with him, against John’s wishes, in order to find Carrie. Kendall tells Diane about the note. Leo and Natalie have sex as Nate and Carrie kiss for the first time, while Alex and Wesley are reunited. Josh suggests that he and Jessica get a bigger place to accommodate Natalie and their future family, but Jessica announces she is going on the road with Rex to find Carrie following a sighting in Mexico. Josh tells her that if she leaves, their relationship is over, but Jessica has to put Carrie first, and leaves. As Will begins to raise himself from his depression, Alex continues to urge the mystery man to tell the truth about the secret. Kristen causes a scene in the Bungalow as Joseph and Diane are having dinner, when she blames Diane for Carrie’s disappearance. Later, she talks to Greg about it and urges him to fight for their marriage should Carrie return. Loretta tries to call Nate to tell him Michael is about to leave for Mexico, but Nate’s cell is not working. Megan opens up to her father, while Kristen tries to get Greg to see just what his mother is really like. Marc tells Ally that she’s never going to get him back and she leaves town.

 

Episode 38

The walls are closing in on Diane as she realizes that Kristen’s views are changing everyone’s opinion of her, as well as her stress about the note Kendall received. Jessica and Rex have some flirtation on the road as Josh meets with Greg to try and console him. When they meet Will, he and Josh attempt to build bridges. Nate tries to fight his feelings for Carrie, while Carrie tries to stop herself from falling in love with him. Wesley suggests to Alex that they renew their vows, seeing as they’re still technically married, but she is more concerned with her secret. Leo’s attraction to Natalie grows as her laidback, mature attitude becomes more evident. When they break down, Rex and Jessica are forced to share a motel room…and Jessica finds herself becoming more and more attracted to the free spirited, confident detective.  DiCenzo starts to travel to Mexico to try and get to Nate and Carrie before the police do, while Carrie has a touching conversation with her unborn child, which Nate listens into. Joseph sets his plan into action to swindle Kendall out of the company. Alex’s secret is revealed during a conversation with John…John is Will’s father!

 

Episode 39

In the penultimate episode of the season, Jessica wakes up to see Rex in his underwear as her attraction to him grows, while Joseph slips the file into a pile of documents requiring Kendall’s signature. When Kendall receives another note and tells Leo about it, he heads straight to Diane and tells her to drop whatever she is planning. He realizes what is going on and tries to stop it. Marc and Megan receive texts from each other arranging to meet in a remote location for a romantic date. Joseph acts quickly and slips a the file into a pile of documents requiring Kendall’s signature. Natalie discovers she is pregnant while Alex has a mysterious phone call. Ashley runs into Leo again and apologizes for her outburst, hoping they can be friends. Leo brutally rebuffs her, causing her to want revenge. Carrie and Nate start to realize that they’re falling for each other as Greg tells his mother a few home truths. Natalie discovers she is pregnant just as her oldest brother, Max, arrives in Oakridge to see how she’s settling in. Jessica and Rex arrive in Mexico and lay low, trying to find Carrie. The heat causes them to have to cool off as their attraction grows. Alex’s conscience gets the better of her and she decides to tell Will the truth…John is his father. Megan walks into the building where Marc is waiting for her, it is full of candles and flowers and fairy lights, totally romantic. Until she sees Marc tied up and gagged, and then she is knocked out.
