The Abbot House: Lounge
Wesley sat on the couch with Lisa.

“Please, Lisa, tell me who did this to my daughter so that it doesn’t happen to anyone else” pleaded Wes.

“I can’t Mr. Abbot, I’ve already told you that” Lisa replied guiltily.

“Do you have any idea how serious this is? MY DAUGHTER IS IN INTENSIVE CARE, SHE’S ON LIFE SUPPORT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. SHE COULD HAVE BRAIN DAMAGE. Please, tell me” Wesley got up, pacing back and forth across the room.

Will came through the front door.

“What’s going on?” asked Will.

Jessica’s Apartment
Jessica and Josh woke up next to each other in Jessica’s apartment. Josh looked at the clock.

“Oh my god I better run, I’ll be late for my meeting”

Josh jumped out of bed and started putting his clothes on.

“Don’t go yet, Josh” Jessica replied.

She grabbed his shirt from the floor before he could put it on.

“Please give me it Jessica, it’s important. It’s a six figure deal”

“Nope”

Josh sighed.

“Fine then” Josh walked out of Jessica’s bedroom shirtless.
Jessica giggled.

“Call me” he yelled from the living room before closing the front door.

“Don’t count on it” Jessica thought.

The
Sterling Mansion: Guest House
Carrie finished applying her lipstick happily. Greg walked out of their bedroom.

“What are you so happy about?” Greg ran his fingers through his hair.

“That would be telling. It’s a surprise. You’ll have to wait until later to find out” Carrie replied.

“Well I better go to work” said Greg. He gave Carrie a kiss before walking out.

“It’s a surprise, Greg, one that’s gonna save my life” Carrie thought.

The Abbot House: Lounge
“I better go” said Lisa, getting up from the chair.

“Not yet” Wesley replied, “You need to tell me who did this to Ashley so that they can be punished”

“I can’t, Mr. Abbot, I’m very sorry, but I can’t”

“Attempting to pervert the course of justice. That’s just what you're doing”

“Let her go, dad. It’s her choice” Will stepped in.

“Fine then, go. I don’t know how you’ll be able to sleep tonight with this on your mind, but go”

Lisa ran out of the house.

“What the hell was that all about?” asked Will.

“You don’t want to know, Will, you don’t want to know”

“Fine. When you're ready to tell me, tell me. I’ll be at the office”

Jessica’s Apartment
Carrie rung Jessica’s doorbell and waited until a toweled Jessica opened the door.

“Have I come at a bad time?” asked Carrie.

“No, not at all, come in” Jessica replied.

Carrie walked in and Jessica closed the door.

“What can I do for you?” asked Jessica.

“I just got off the phone from Megan” said Carrie.

“And?”

“And she said she needs the money now. I managed to get the flight covered from some savings that I had before I married Greg, there’s another couple of hundred in there as well. I just need a little from you to get her over here for this whole thing to work”

“How much is a little?”

“Three hundred”

“Right, let me go get ready then we can go down the ATM and get this money”

Jessica walked into her bedroom and closed the door. Carrie picked up one of Jessica’s magazines and started leafing through it. On the couch Carrie sat on was a shirt, a man’s shirt. Carrie picked it up.

“What have you been up to?” thought Carrie.

Jessica’s Apartment

“Ready to go?” asked Carrie.

“You bet” said Jessica, picking up her bag.

“Before we go Jess, answer me a question, will you?”

“Anything”

Carrie held the shirt up.

“Another little session with Will?”

“Nope”

“Who then?”

“Josh”

“Josh Denman? I didn’t think he was your type”

“Young, rich, good looking, my type. And what a body”

“You're a regular little man eater, aren't you?”

“And proud of it. Now let’s go save your marriage”

Oakridge General Hospital

Wes sat in the hospital room with an unconscious Ashley. He held her hand gently enough not to stop the flow of any of the tubes but firm enough for her to know his presence.

“Please, honey. Tell me who did this to you” he pleaded. There was a knock at the door and a girl walked in.

“Mr. Abbot?” she asked.

“Yes”

“I’m Kim Logan, I was in the pageant with Ashley, we’re all terribly sad about what happened to Ashley, I just thought I’d pay her a visit”

“That’s sweet. Do you mind if I leave you alone with her, just for a minute while I go and get a coffee?”

“Not at all” Kim smiled sweetly.

“Thanks”

Wes got up and walked out of the room. Kim edged closer to Ashley.

“It’s just you and me now Ashley, all alone

Oakridge International Airport

Will got out of his car at the airport. He walked into the main building and through various gates until he reached the desired terminal. He sat down, waiting.

“Ladies and gentleman, flight 7205 from Los Angeles has now arrived” came the voice over the PA.

Will watched as the people started to leave the plane and walked through the tunnel. He looked at the faces but couldn’t quite find who he was looking for. A woman, one of the last people to come through the tunnel, looked at Will and smiled. Will waved. The woman walked closer and hugged Will.

“I told you I’d be here” she said.

“Welcome back, mom”
