It was Rainy AND Cold!
Man sometimes when it rains, it just gets so cold that you feel it inside your bones. It was the 2002 season and I hadn't been hunting much and sure as hell ain't killed nothing and then Lowry kills this big old deer out at the Cotton Patch....and then it starts to rain. Not really hard rain but steady and it was COLD. I got so cold that I could hardly stand. My boots were so wet that I could have floated a battleship. After standing in the rain for about an hour while Headcoot was cleaning that deer, we finally limped home....I can't remember being that cold in a very long time...it took purt near 2 days to get the feeling back in my feet!!!
