Volna Launch Vehicle
VOLNA is being developed based on a Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) the RSM-50, designated as SS-N-18 "StingRay" by NATO. This vehicle is used for launching Low Earth Orbit [LEO] spacecrafts. The Volna uses the warhead fairing to hold the spacecraft.
