| Wing Zero: A Mechanical Marvel -The System and the Mobile Suit- |
PAST: The 5 Gundam Scientists were working on the plans for the Wing Zero, and a system known as the Zero System. The Gundam Wing comes closest to the Wing Zero design (duh). Each Gundam Scientist contributed to the Gundam Wing. Thus, creating the close to perfect Gundam. When they split up, Doctor J took Wing with him. The other 4 scientists built their own Gundams with the features they contributed to, when they worked on Wing: Doctor G built the Deathscythe The stealthy quick-moving Gundam; Doctor S built the Heavyarms The Gundam with a massive amount of arsenal; Instructor H built the Sandrock The Gundam with the most armor; Master O built the Shenlong The Gundam with the best combat skills. AC 195: As you know, Quatre finds the Wing Zero plans, and brings the 15-year-old design to life. Quatre also installs the Zero System into the Wing Zero. The perfect Gundam was now complete. All the Gundam pilots, including Milliardo Peacecraft/Zechs Merquise, have piloted the Wing Zero (or Epyon), and experienced the insanity of the Zero System. At the end of the series, the Epyon was destroyed on a section of Libra. The Wing Zero is still operating. ***BETWEEN AC 195-AC 196*** : SPOILER! If you dont want to know what happens in the manga: Ground Zero. Then skip this part, and scroll down to AC 196. Decided to read this section? Okie dokie. Be aware below is a very vague story of Ground Zero. I really encourage you to read the manga! Visit my links page to go to a page with the translated manga! After the series ended, we see Heero playing. Yet he still kept his Gundam, and he was still working on it. One day, the Wing Zero was stolen. Heero thought that wasnt possible. How could anyone steal his Gundam? Heero put an immense security system to protect Wing Zero. There was a note. It said if he wanted his Gundam back, he would have to go to an abandoned colony to retrieve it. He goes there and finds the other Gundam pilots. They talk and fight. They ask Heero why he still has his Gundam, and why he is still working on it. Heero says he has some bond with Wing Zero. The others say there is no more wars, and that he should try to live a normal life without his Gundam. Trowa suggests sending all the Gundams into the sun. They all agree. AC 196: When we see Endless Waltz, we receive information that the Gundams are on a journey to the sun. Quatre retrieves them, and we see a great battle. The Wing Zero fires 3 shots at the Mariemaia base. On the third shot, the Wing Zero (Custom) gets blown up. FUTURE: The Wing and Wing Zero were destroyed. There is peace, and there is no need to rebuild them. The Wing and Wing Zero are now things of the past. |

| The Wing Zero The Wing Zero is by far the most technologically advanced mobile suit in Gundam Wing (besides the Epyon). The Gundams all have special abilities, but why is the Wing and Wing Zero the best? It seems to be unfair (in my opinion). Why would the creators of Gundam Wing make a Gundam that can defeat any of its companions? If it were the best, why would there be any need for the other 4? Did they try to make it the favorite among the fans? These questions surrounded me as I watched the series. |
