| I bet you don't have a clue about what is going on for this month's Gundam Wing Concealed. Lets start off with this... I was talking with my friends during lunch at school. We talk and have our usual discussions (i.e. can you freeze a fart; why do we get ear wax, boogers and eye poop etc.). One day, I brought up a topic of Gundam Wing. I said, "Isn't it strange that some characters have numbers for their names?" My friends looked upon me wearily. I continued, "Think about it... I'm taking French and I know how to say numbers in French. Some Gundam Wing characters have french names that translate into numbers, such as Quatre, Treize, Une etc. They started to nod their heads in agreement. After a few months, I decided to make that discussion a topic for Gundam Wing Concealed. Shall we start?... Heero Yuy: I have heard this name to mean "The One and Only"... how appropriate for Heero. Duo Maxwell: As you probably know... Duo means two. Trowa Barton: Trowa sounds like trois (pronounced trwa), that's three in French. Quatre Winner: Four in French Chang Wufei: Part of Wufei has Mandarin (or some other language) that translates to five. -How ironic... the pilots have names to the order of their Gundams and their colonies.- Lady Une: The "Une" is French for one. Lucretzia Noin: The Noin is nine in German. ~Thanks Nekosan~ Treize Kushrenada: Treize is French for thirteen. Quinze: French for fifteen. Zechs Merquise: Zechs is close to six in German. ~Thanks Nekosan~ Milliardo Peacecraft: It translates to one million. Sorry... I don't remember what language. I know, I know... nothing much, huh? I remember we did some research and we found a lot, but I guess that's all I got. For this particular Gundam Wing Concealed topic....
