____Tenor Banjo Diminished 7th__
 The diminished 7th chord is one reason to learn the name of every note on the strings. 
 The four voices of the stock grip make up all the Root_b3_b5_bb7 from any pitch in 
the paricular grip positioned. Some resolutions to the next chord played in a 
tune will be more appropriate than others.
Its quite flexible and talks to any major or minor chord,and doubles as a b9th chord 
(root half step below that voice).
 Since the wide tuning of the  Tenor Banjo leaves the half-step/whole step  scale in the dust ,
closest string interval ,#4/b5 to a bb7(6th)on each pair of strings .
