Progress
is known in two forms,
1. Technical, mechanical or scientific.
2. Social, moral or humanitarian
Technically we the human beings are on the very peak of the
progress. What ever is guessed that is totally or partially
achieved. We have all the technological goals in our hand,
we have latest super computers, robots, we have all possible
means for comfortable life and all these goals are achieved
in a very recent past.
The world seems like a village; all the countries are very
close multilateral connections with each other. Media has
brought close the communities of different nations.
But what is the real progress?
Real progress, development, achievement of goals is different
from materialistic ideas to progress. How we made progress
on humanitarian ground? Are we in progress morally? Not because
we can see, we can guess the panic and disastrous scenario
of world community. The pathetic situation of social values
in different parts of the world is very sorrowful and alarming.
Many nations of the world tries to keep, maintain their existence
on the earth against the aggressions, some are fighting against
terrible starving situations some are cutting their throats
for the sake of their own mother land, many are deprived from
their native homelands, several are gabbed by crude economical
policies some are kept on fire clue to disobediences of their
self made masters, some are tortured by the nominal peace
making process, these are about some mass level devaluation
of humanity but individual progress of man can be estimated
from the social role of man in his own society.
Today, there is brotherhood at slaughter, friendship is burning,
neighbourhood is on risk, sympathy is lacking, nobility is
useless, fairness is shameful, straightforwardness is discouraged,
and truth & rightfulness is misery. At the last human
being is normally at the same point as it was hundred years
ago.
So what is real progress? Should real progress is not that
we progress in human norm & social values, because scientific
& technological development more than it will bring damage
to human.
