To me, the top most thing is merit, and merit alone, no match to it, no settlement to it, it is nothing but merit. Very famous saying is “News and unpalatable views can be suppressed of course, but no body can manage to censor the realities for all the times to come”. My message to my students is to standby merit and no compromise on it at all. Inevitably, the success will have to follow. Provided they work hard and hard in life to prove as worthy and useful citizens of this country.
