Farewell Party 2004 - 2005
A Report by Magazine Management
Last year on 14th October 2004 a beautiful “Farewell Party” was arranged by the students of this year’s LLB-II in respect for students of third year’s students then, at Govt: Sindh Law College, Hyderabad. The Organizers of the farewell party were Mr. Yasir Rajper and Mr. Waqar Ali Laghari (CR) along with the management committee based on Mr. Mustafa Soomro, Mr Hyder Memon, Mr. Shahid Laghari, Mr. Jam Khan Shomro, Mr. Tariq Pathan, Mr. Adil Jamali and Mr. Mumtaz Lashari.


Honourable principal Mr. Ahmed Ali Shaikh and the reputable teachers like Mr. Ayaz Latif Palijo. Mr. Rasheed Ranghar, Dhalu Mal Lohana, Irfan Qureshi and Miss Parveen Chachar accompanied by many other teachers and the staff members were the respectable guests of the party with all the students of Govt: Sindh Law College, Hyderabad.

The party started at 7:00 pm with Tilawat-e-Quran-e-pak by Mr. Faraz Chandio and followed by the warm welcome speech from Mr. Roshan Ali Shaikh, in which he whole heartedly welcomed the reputable guests and all the colleagues of the college specially the students of third year, who were about to leave the college after completing their final year. Mr. Jam Khan Shoro along with other students also came on the stage and paid their tribute in the respect of the final year students.

After hearing the warm feelings from the juniors the CR (class representative) of the final year Mr. Mumtaz Ali Lashari came on the stage and expressed his views about the profession, and shared his feelings and experiences with the junior students and he also praised and thanked them for such glorious and great evening, followed by another students of final year Mr. Masood Abbasi, who also admired the marvellous event arranged by the students of first year (currently second year).

Soon after the speeches a comedy skit “Interview with a traffic constable” written and directed by Mr. Yasir Rajper was performed by Mr. Rajper and Mr. Mumtaz Laghari which spread laughter in the environment and it was enjoyed by all the students along with the respected guests. The comparing was then taken over by Mr. Yasir Rajper till the end of the evening in his usual energetic way.

The comedy skit was followed by the poetries of different regional and national languages which were shard by the Mr. Shahabuddin Shah, Mr. Mustafa Soomro, Miss Huma Khan, Mr. Mumtaz Lashari, Mr. Tariq Pathan and Miss Sheeren Bhatti. The students of the final year Miss Samina Sangam and Mr. Ghullam Buxx Bhutto and many others also came up and shared beautiful poetries, which were enjoyed by all of the audience.

As the poetry segment ended and announcement was made by Mr. Roshan Shaikh that they had invited a group of Qawals to perform that day as well and with that he invited Mr. Yasir Rajper and his participating friends Mr. Mumtaz Lashari, Mr. Mustafa Soomro, Mr. Hyder Memon, Mr. Tariq Pathan, Mr. Shahid Laghari and Mr. Inam Jatoi by the name as “Yasir Ali Khan Qawal and Humnawa” which was the title given to the parody Qawali performance written and directed by Mr. Rajper. It was again an atmosphere of laughter and clapping and every body sitting there was highly enjoying the comedy Qawali.

With the Qawali the evening entered into its third phase of musical program and soon the students were coming on the stage to sing fabulous songs on after another. The students who sang songs were Mr. Naseer Narejo, Mr. Hussain Bux Chachar, Mr. Alam Rehan (final year), Mr. Dahri (final year), Miss Afroz Channa and Mr. Yasir Rajper, who at first sang a comedy song relating to the habit of gossips amongst the females, the environment was so energetic that all the students started dancing along with the song and there was a moment when both the Class Representatives of the final year and the first year Mr. Mumtaz Ali Lashari and Mr. Waqar Ali Laghari also danced with excitement which created a marvellous environment for every body to enjoy. Mr. Rajper sang another song and then the professional singers were handed over the stage to perform.

After that the dinner was served at about 12:00 am and all the respected guests along with the students had dinner. However the evening was officially ended soon after the dinner but the students were still there performing small skits and sharing more poetries and songs with each other.
