Gameplay
Its an easy game to pickup and enjoy and the controls are very basic. The game has five race types: Sprint, (Point A to Point B) Drag, (Straight stretch of manual gear shifting) Circuit, (Standard lap race, complete with awesome shortcuts), Drift. (Pull off the craziest, fastest, longest powerslides you can and have the most points by the end of four laps) and Lap Knockout (Racer last of each is eliminated until one is left). Then there is Underground Mode, which is the storyline mode of the game, with well over 100 challenges it will certainly keep you busy, in this mode you unlock new cars, tracks and upgrades for you cars, such as turbo kits improving performance and also new paint designs/accessories for your car boosting its reputation.

Graphics
The graphics in the game are really good and the frame rate is excellent. The cars all look fantastically real and smooth and the city environments are great, with short cuts galore. The tracks are very well detailed and are all pretty long.

Sound
The game has some exclusive tracks by artists such as Mystikal also there are tracks from the likes of Rob Zombie, Rancid and Static X. As for sound effects, the tire screeches, engine revs, nitrous boosts, crashes, horns, etc... are all crystal clear. In game menu tracks are great; sometimes you might just want to listen to the game. It gives you the option of what songs you want to hear as well, so if there is a track you dont like you can just take it off the play list.

Closing Comments
This game is guaranteed to keep you entertained for hours on end.

A Second Opinion:

"With Stunning road affects, Solid Gameplay, and an enormous range of customizable parts for your ride, you're gonna want to take this home faster then you could play it" [submitted by darkprince]

"The prettiest racing game ever made with gameplay to match. If the music wasn't so god-awful and the difficulty so unforgivingly impossible, we would have had the best racing game ever!" [submitted by dancingmind]
