Your walking through a narrow passage where the only light is your dim flashlight, and you suddenly hear something tapping on the otherside of the wall...You go to investigate but all you see is blood on the Door wich leads into a vent and dismemberd body parts lying around, so you decide to yourslef "Well i better get the **** out of here". Then you hear a childs voice whisper "Come with me" and you see bloody footsteps on the ground as you watch them appear before you and lead you to another, bigger, door. Once you try to open it, everthing freezes, Your Vision becomes distorted and everything is tinted a dark red as if there is blood leaking into you eyes, and you hear a mother screaming "they took my baby! Help me!"
As quick as it happened, everything went to normal. But now you hear a heavy breathing and you can even feel it on your shoulder because your so scared!You know for sure there is a huge son of a bitch of a monster standing behind you, waiting for you to turn so it can scare the shit out of you!!
Even though this game is scary, it becomes repetitive and is basically just a run and gun game. One of the only things that keeps you playing is wanting to see the different monsters and weapons. The storyline is a little bland, but it could also be a motive to beat the game.
Doom 3 is relitivly good and Hopefully it leads to sequals where the battles are brought onto mars surface and earth.
