A Second Opinion:
Electronic arts tries to reveal the harsh reality of the war in the game, like it did in Frontline, it does it quite well in Rising Sun, but there are certain elements of the gameplay that let it down in making it seem realistic for one there is no , also your allies however much they are attacked are immortal. The AI also let it down to some extent. You can't take them by surprise because they always know that you are coming. They do not use any kind of tactics at all. Despite these complaints overall its a fun game to play, and if you enjoyed Frontline you are likely to enjoy Rising Sun aswell. The controls are fairly awkward at first, but once used to fairly are good.

The graphics in Rising Sun are pretty much the same as Frontlines, but the only difference is the new environments such as the jungles, which are ok but could be improved. The first levels are great graphically especially the attack on Pearl Harbour. Character s are pretty good but are a joke when compared to those of Ghost Recon. Medal of Honor Rising Sun really suffers badly from the graphics especially in comparison to other games such as Ghost Recon.
The music shifts towards an asian-esque theme, with variations of drums beating to flutes, etc. The guns and other ''action'' sounds of the game are superb too, it sounds like you're almost in Pearl Harbour The music makes up for the poor graphics and really adds an eerie atmosphere to a lot of the levels.
It has multiplayer options but these are poor, and wont keep you occupied for very long. It really could do with a few more levels.
