The Queens of the Stone Age are a very talented and interesting group of musicians. They create the most original music in the modern rock market. Because of this, you may love or hate them. Every album features tracks that are designed to be more melodic (and thus more listener friendly) contrasted with some crazy death metal and occasional acoustic tracks.

Songs for the Dead is the best selling and most known album of the 'qotsa' legacy. This partially has to do with the recruitment of super star drummer Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters) and masterful singer Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees, Mad Season, solo career).

Songs for the Deaf includes:

1. Millionaire
2. No One Knows
3. First it Giveth
4. Song For the Dead
5. The Sky is Falling
6. Six Shooter
7. Hanging Tree
8. Go With The Flow
9. Gonna Leave You
10. Do it Again
11. God is in the Radio
12. Song for the Deaf
13. Mosquito Song

The Track 'No One Knows' is alone worth the cover price of the album. It is one of the catchiest rock songs ever written. In comparison to other modern rock albums this is the best band on the market. In comparison to other Queen's albums, none really stand out as best. Each have their amazing songs and there less than pleasing tunes. Overall, a nearly perfect album.
