"Samantha and the Beanstalk"
Episode 171
Air Date: September 18, 1969

Synopsis: Tabitha overhears her parents discussing possible boy names for the baby, and comes to the conclusion that they like boys better than girls because they want a baby boy. Feeling unwanted, the little witch decides to run away from home by trading places with Jack from her "Jack and the Beanstalk" storybook, and  zapping herself into the book and climbing his beanstalk. When Samantha discovers Tabitha is gone, she pops herself into the book to rescue her from the child-eating giant. Meanwhile, Darrin stays home to keep his visiting mother from finding out the truth about Jack.
"Sam! How many times have I told you NEVER to talk in the middle of somebody's backswing!?!"

Dick Sargent's first scene on "Bewitched." This was not the first episode that Dick filmed, but it was the first one aired.
