The Corsa is a very interesting vehicle; it was designed for Europe in 1994 by mainly inputs from the fairer sex. However our Corsa is based on a design from GM Brazil's 'rough road' package, with body structures from South Africa. It looks quite contemporary despite its mixed parentage. The Corsa is a classy car, which is well equipped and finished. The efficient 1598cc 92bhp firecracker of an engine powers it. Another plus point is the all-conquering ride, which handles anything the Indians roads have to offer. The only sour point of this package is the price, which stands at Rs. 77,000 ($ 1800 approx.) more than the FORD Ikon and Rs. 64,000/- ($ 1500 approx.) to the comparably equipped Hyundai Accent.
