The heart of a Jeep and the soul of a car is how Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has portrayed the Bolero, making it more car-like and doing away with the agrarian image of a jeep. The Bolero features an independent front suspension set-up, a first from M&M, the vehicle provides average ride characteristics and a scale of comfort previously unheard of from Mahindra. The Bolero comes with power steering, power windows, central locking and a stereo system, not to mention an aircon, and at a great price to boot. NVH levels have been brought down to tolerable limits, and while the naturally aspirated Peugeot mill does a great job, the gearshift quality also improves the driving experience immensely. The main USP of this vehicle is its low maintenance costs, dependability and ruggedness. The Bolero in short is a trustworthy old lady with heavy make-up.
